You know what would be crazy? What if they built red, blue, and yellow directly into pokemon stadium? On the original stadium you could play your cartridge on the N64 through stadium. What if you earned that feature and when you went to the Gameboy icon on the map it just had gen 1 games built in? I know this is a heaping helping of copium but it would be a strong move by gamefreak imo
Yeah that's what I have been thinking, Nintendo has made "Special" editions of their emulated games on NSO. So, logically speaking a "special" edition of both Pokemon stadiums with all the correlating gb games for that stadium.
Never had stadium, only played the gameboy games in the 90s/2000s. I never realized that stadium is somehow an extension for the games, so without it you never experienced the full gen 1.
That would be awesome, but I highly doubt this will be the case. There would need to be serious updates to the software of this game, home, or the RBY VC games in order to make it work. I don't think the man hours needed would be worth it to nintendo
I don't think so, all you would need to emulate is the adapter, so when launching Pokémon Stadium, even before the game starts, a Nintendo Switch Online Menü pops up asking you which rom from the GB emulator you want to insert (or none). This should be doable for a multibillion dollar company like Nintendo. They also will do that, this is Pokémon, their biggest IP. The idea of a subscription model is to never give players what they actually want at the moment, but just something to cope with, all the time. That's why the big titles like Pokémon are so hold back, why we never get a complete series at launch of an emulator (example Mario Land/Wario Land series on the GB/GBA emulators we only got two out of six games, and in random order making chronological playthrough impossible), why we don't even get all ports of a game (example,we got Link's Awakeing DX but no Link's Awakening, we got Donkey Kong Country 1-3 SNES but not Donkey Kong Country GBC or Donkey Kong Country 1-3 GBA) and why something like Pokémon Main series gen 1-3 will certainly be split into SEVEN different release waves because no way they drop the special editions and the normal editions at the same time.
Actually, on an upside, maybe even eight...If there has ever been any chance for Western audiences to experience the original Red and Green editions (our Red and Blue are ports of Japanese Blue) translated, its now - they already did so with Earthbound. The drowsed out subscription model demands them to always have something up their sleeves.
0:21 Let's Go Pikachu, Let's Go Eevee, Sword, Shield, Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, and Legends Arceus are all main series games that can have pokemon transfered into them on the switch. Pokemon Home dropped in 2020.
I remember you could win version exclusive, starters, and fossil Pokémon in Stadium back in the days. How would the implement this kow then? Are these still available and can be saved somewhere?
Your Copium is soothing cause soo many people been waiting for all these games to launch on switch to get back into the series, from the start 🎉😊 This is the essential restart so many have been awaiting. Please 🙏 don’t mess this up for your fans 🙏
It would have only made sense for them to let you transfer pokemon from the 3ds virtual console versions of red blue and yellow to your switch bersion of stadium
@@BARBERSHOPP it took them years to release Pokemon stadium or n64 games in general to switch, is just 1% of n64 games in nso at the moment and you expect Nintendo to make Gameboy Pokemon transferable lol what a joke.
Lost my data on yellow rip to the battery. Got it fixed, so now I'm doing a new walkthrough. Cheers to getting two mews on the walkthrough and just steam rolling the elite four 😂
your copium is off the charts gen 1 3 straight up are not coming to switch and there will never be transfers into stadium Nintendo is gonna do a Nintendo
You are off the charts...They just launched GameBoy/GameBoy Color and GameBoy Advance emulators and you are telling me they are skipping their most important IP? After they already have released/announced all N64 titles from it except Hey, you Pikachu which will likely be in the next wave...they don't have licenses to many 64 games anymore, next wave easily predictable Smash Bros, Hey Pikachu, DK 64 and two forgetable titles. Pokémon TCG is also already announced for the GB emulator afaik...Can't be too long until they announce Red/Blue.
Another certified banger video. Personally, I have to agree with option 2. There's no way Nintendo doesn't release the original GBA games to the switch in the near future. As a shiny hunter, I'm excited to see what kind of hunts that opens up. For example, catching a Pokémon in the GBA games and transferring them to Stadium to see if it's shiny. Thanks for the consistently high-quality content! 💈
Easy on the copium, Trainer.
facts lol it might not happen tbh. i'm cool using the rentals anyways, and the mini games are my fav. just glad we can play it online with friends!
The game’s worthless to me without a transfer system. That’s what makes it nostalgic for me.

You were asking for WAAAAYY too much effort from them lol. It's sad
I can do that on Android, what is stopping nintendo?

I agree but gen1 remakes are already on switch and nintendo will want to not make more as they want you to use let's go

These rentals are the worst. Please they need to have this update Pronto!!!!!
25 years to downgrade a game only Nintendo

yezzirr
So home has been out but still I don’t see the option to transfer to Pokémon stadium?
Crazy idea: What if Red, blue and yellow are already in the code for Pokémon Stadium??
Es una solución muy viable 😊
amazing but nintendo wants that $$$
So much for this.

You can win starters. I won a starter after beating gym leader castle
@@dogemon11 Well done.
But that starter is also stuck in Stadium, right?

This didn’t age well
😂
Can you explain why?
@@AceticTWO cause its been over a year and the only pokemon gameboy game we got was the tcg game on switch online lol
What about now? Sorry, I don't have switch online yet. @@soulaholic6813
Technically we also got the gimped version if stadium 2. But yeah pretty sad

Man I just rather just my laptop to play stadium andntransfer pack
This video aged quite well 🙃🙃🙃🤡
😜
Pokemon home on the switch just needs and update
I'm looking for people to battle online with on the 12th. Who wants to play?
Whats about gen 1 shinys in Stadium 1?🤔
I think you're giving Pokemon/gamefreak and Nintendo way too much credit.
most likely lol but eventually, some day, it might be able to happen, somehow
