@Hadiyah Tahir I've got pretty bad acne too and most products don't do much. But hyrim is right when he says a simple gentle skincare routine. I recommend to everyone struggling with acne to use aloe vera gel from the actual plant. I've been using it and when I first tried it, it did wonders. Not only did it help my acne heal but it lightened the dark scars I had. A gentle cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen and rubbing aloe on your skin before bed is wonderful. Most people wash off the aloe after about 15 minutes but I apply it at night and allow it to soak into my skin and then just wash my face in the morning. Hope this helps!
I was so insecure about my pimples but OMG SCARS are worse, when someone starts complaining over a tiny pimple it gets me mad because they have it easier😭
you may not get scars but popping zits are still more damaging than leaving them alone, it’s okay if they leave a scar cause they’ll go away pretty quick! just leave them alone and your skin will be healthier(:
Bruh, dudes be using hand soap and have perfect skin, while I’m here doing the twelve step Korean skin care routine and my face still won’t respect me.🤦♀️
@@josueg7381 I tried that and my face was so dry. The flakes got 10 times worse and my eczema crawled out of the deepest pits of hell back onto the surface. 🙃
The Ordinary is cheap, I got rid of my dark spots and little bumps on my face but I don't have acne scarring so I can't speak for that one. I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser to wash my face and Cetaphil DailyAdvanced Lotion with a few drops (4-5) of either Rosehip, Marula or Argan oil from The Ordinary (my favorite has to be Marula, my face is always so soft after). And every like 3-4 days I exfoliate with The Ordinary AHA 30% • BHA 2% Peeling Solution. You can use one of those spinning brushes when you wash your face everyday with your cleanser and that helps me with texture between exfoliating.
@@fiestyfox2207 How expensive or how affordable a product is to a person is very subjective. Like example, 20 USD might be dirt cheap to you but I'm from India and I belong from a higher middle class family and to me 20$ is quite expensive. ( I mean when you convert those dollars to INR )

Several questions comes to mind. How old are you? What is your skin type? What are you currently using? What are you eating? All this depends on your lifestyle and also genetics. I used to have severe cystic acne. I have clear skin now due to a lot of research, learning, and trial and errors.

Repair your Scar with homeopathic medicine ruclips.net/video/P7qdowrNB3s/видео.html When you're stressed, having acne may feel like an even bigger deal than it is, as stress tends to amplify negative feelings. Stress-relieving activities-whether it's tai chi or yoga, reading a book, hanging out with friends, fishing, or anything that makes you feel relaxed-will give you a better outlook
DaBootifulMustache Queen I have the same thing! I know exactly what you’re going through, and I cover my forehead with my hair too. You can do what you want with your hair, but please hear me out first. I’m very guilty of this, but covering your forehead with your hair makes the acne worse. Getting bangs would most likely make it even worse because the hair is constantly touching that area. Please remember that acne and scarring are very normal things and they don’t define you.

I’m on a mission to improve my boyfriend’s skin - his biggest issue is pigment scarring from teenage acne. I’ve watched this video at least 5 times so I can memorize the information and deliver it to him quickly THANK YOU HYRAM!!!
Notes for anyone that needs them because their ability to remember things is close to none like me lol Physical scarring (indentations, texture) - SPF: Sun exposure makes your skin worse when trying to get rid of the scars - Exfoliation: chemical exfoliation (not physical!), helps pushing new skin cells to the surface - Retinol: only ingredient which can reverse damage, extremely sensitising so be careful when using (in another video he said if you're new to using it start by using it once in 2 weeks, then once a week and work your way up to 3 times a week max), use only at night, start with lower percentage - Niacinamide: smoothing texture Pigment scarring (dark spots/marks) - Brightening treatment: hydrocanone (i am not sure about spelling) only for spots, must use spf with it; vitamin C can be put all over the face, protects from damage, also good for anti-aging - Exfoliation: helps get dead skin cells off your skin SUNSCREEN IS A MUST! Also talk to your dermatologist :)
i HARDLY ever pop my pimples, yet they leave horrendous pigmentation scars that lasts for months. it’s so crushing not feeling good everyday because of it :(

I have acne scars on my cheeks, forehead, in between brows, etc. I also struggle with discoloration. But like, despite being close to “clear skin” I always have 1-5 pimples in random places like bruh 😐
Here’s some things I’ve learned: Refrain from touching your face, don’t let hair touch your face, try not to use hair products around your hairline, wash your pillowcases and blankets as often as possible, drink about a gallon of water a day, wear sunscreen, let your face breathe from makeup, try another skin care routine if your current one isn’t working, use moisturizer, (more on Hyrams tiktok) Hope this helped!

Vitamin c is so underrated when it comes to treating our scars. This is why I choose something that's all natural and doesnt add any color. Exfoliation matters too. I prefer chemical exfoliation for it doesnt hurt my skin compared to physical scrubs. Love love the Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Masque for it helps in treating my hyperpigmentation and reducing pores

I`m enduring moderate adult acne every so often and with this book, I learned the natural and other several acne remedies. I favor the natural way of treating them and I found out on this guide the solutions that work successfully.
I hope this is a joke because Vitamin C in skincare is L-Ascorbic Acid which is only found naturally in small quantities. What is found in high doses naturally though is Citric Acid which is a tough chemical exfoliant.

Are your scars red and do they look like pimples? I had terrible breakouts on my cheeks this summer, and I've been wondering why the pimples never go away. Well, today I realized that they're SCARS. My cheeks are full of red but smooth scars. I'm so freaking devastated, 3 years of trying to clear my skin, and I've lost the battle to these bitchy scars...
It is also important to start before you are "older". Thinking that skincare isn't important when you are young (I'm talking late teens and early 20s) is just plain wrong. I am speaking from experience here. If you wait till your 40s to start taking care of your skin you can only do so much. I wish I had been more concerned about sunscreen and skin care years ago.
I try to but my mom keeps telling me she doesn’t want me to put that all on my face, she always says imma look 40-80 by the time I’m 18. (I’m 16) All I’m planning to use is my freeman charcoal gel scrub mask, freeman glacier and peony hydration mask at (night), Humphrey’s witch hazel and rose water toner, neutrogena’s spf 100 and lip balm. That’s 5 products and I’m only using very small amounts on the masks. I’m very gentle with my skin and hardly wear makeup and when I do, it’s very natural. It’s just a little hard for me to let her see my point of view. Some things that work for her, don’t work for me and how will I find things that are best for my skin, if I never try and experiment with other products?
I feel you so hard. It makes you so self conscious!! Wearing a mask 40 hours a week has given me like the worst acne of my life but I think it's also affecting my hormones or something bc I'm even starting to have a couple spots on my chest- pls no do not spread anymore! Acne scars are just the worst. To be honest, acne scars ruined my high school memory. I was made fun of a lot when I was going through acne by this one kid in high school. Now, I am trying to treat acne scars on my own because I had a number of treatments at a clinic, and I am just never too satisfied.
Try the ordinary product line but do some research on it first and contact their customer service line for help with a regimen. They are inexpensive, around $9 and they work.
I would be a tad careful about taking birth control to fix acne. I know some people who did that: while it may have worked for them at first, they all ended up getting worse acne. Not saying it won't work for you but I'd be careful and consult a dermatologist about it.
@@thebean3005 THIS. THIS COMMENT. I got on birth control because of my acne and protection of course. And although my acne has reduced from before I started taking it around 4 years ago, I still suffer bad with acne/acne scars. I never take my birth control when I’m on my period, bc duh, and always noticed my skin become slightly clearer. I always thought that was strange considering your acne gets worse during that time. Update to now; I stopped taking my birth control 2 weeks ago. My skin is remarkably clearer then it has been in years. Birth control is difficult because you have to wait multiple months to see how it will effect your body personally! But make sure you try different ones! Also the pill is very depression prone, in which CAN CAUSE MORE ACNE. If you’re feeling sad and ya face shows it, maybe it’s the pill. Stay peaceful🧡

Your best friends for acne scars: -Retinol/Retinoids (Differin gel is over the counter and about $30 for a 3 month supply) -Niacinamide (my favorite treatment is the Peter Thomas Roth Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment. Yes it’s $88 but the results are dramatic. My skin tone is even and my scars are not flaming red anymore. It’s worth it!!) -SPF (non-negotiable! The sun will damage your skin and darken your scars. Not to mention you can put yourself at risk of skin cancer. SPF keeps you young looking and healthy!) -vitamin C (brightening, protects against free radical damage and can be mildly clarifying. Vitamin c in squalane (Biossance Vitamin C oil) is amazing for dark spots and helps to improve skin health so quickly. I wear mine at night to lock in moisture after I’ve used my Niacinamide.
Catalina Herrera yes I would because it’s very effective for PIE. Niacinamide helps to prevent melanocytes from producing pigment, thus preventing hyperpigmentation and erythema.

Several questions comes to mind. How old are you? What is your skin type? What are you currently using? What are you eating? All this depends on your lifestyle and also genetics. I used to have severe cystic acne. I have clear skin now due to a lot of research, learning, and trial and errors.

When you're stressed, having acne may feel like an even bigger deal than it is, as stress tends to amplify negative feelings. Stress-relieving activities-whether it's tai chi or yoga, reading a book, hanging out with friends, fishing, or anything that makes you feel relaxed-will give you a better outlook
binge watching these while in quarantine because my skin is worse than it's ever been :)
i thought i was the only one my face has never been worse
DaBootifulMustache Queen I have the same thing! I know exactly what you’re going through, and I cover my forehead with my hair too. You can do what you want with your hair, but please hear me out first. I’m very guilty of this, but covering your forehead with your hair makes the acne worse. Getting bangs would most likely make it even worse because the hair is constantly touching that area. Please remember that acne and scarring are very normal things and they don’t define you.

Notes for anyone that needs them because their ability to remember things is close to none like me lol
Physical scarring (indentations, texture)
- SPF: Sun exposure makes your skin worse when trying to get rid of the scars
- Exfoliation: chemical exfoliation (not physical!), helps pushing new skin cells to the surface
- Retinol: only ingredient which can reverse damage, extremely sensitising so be careful when using (in another video he said if you're new to using it start by using it once in 2 weeks, then once a week and work your way up to 3 times a week max), use only at night, start with lower percentage
- Niacinamide: smoothing texture
Pigment scarring (dark spots/marks)
- Brightening treatment: hydrocanone (i am not sure about spelling) only for spots, must use spf with it; vitamin C can be put all over the face, protects from damage, also good for anti-aging
- Exfoliation: helps get dead skin cells off your skin
SUNSCREEN IS A MUST!
Also talk to your dermatologist :)

Exactly! Skin care is preventative, rarely reversive. The sooner you start taking care of your skin, the better! Thank you for your advice 😄
Diane Morgan i start skincare when i was 14 and now im 33

Your best friends for acne scars:
-Retinol/Retinoids (Differin gel is over the counter and about $30 for a 3 month supply)
-Niacinamide (my favorite treatment is the Peter Thomas Roth Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment. Yes it’s $88 but the results are dramatic. My skin tone is even and my scars are not flaming red anymore. It’s worth it!!)
-SPF (non-negotiable! The sun will damage your skin and darken your scars. Not to mention you can put yourself at risk of skin cancer. SPF keeps you young looking and healthy!)
-vitamin C (brightening, protects against free radical damage and can be mildly clarifying. Vitamin c in squalane (Biossance Vitamin C oil) is amazing for dark spots and helps to improve skin health so quickly. I wear mine at night to lock in moisture after I’ve used my Niacinamide.
thanks for the recommendations !! would you recommend the Thomas Roth Niacinamide for someone that has PIE ?
I saw in some place that we can not mix vit c with niacinamide :/
Giulia suedde you’re right. Not mixed but layered. First to apply is Niacinamide then vitamin c afterwards.
Giulia suedde yes correvt even the ordinary mention dont use them together, the effectivenss will cancel out together.
Catalina Herrera yes I would because it’s very effective for PIE. Niacinamide helps to prevent melanocytes from producing pigment, thus preventing hyperpigmentation and erythema.
