The hosts do a great job with still presenting knowledge about the pieces while highlighting what knowledge the collectors do know about the watches.

The skydweller is an amazing watch, with such a smart and innovative movement. It is an annual calender, and displays two time zones simultaneously. The way it is set, and is displayed is so cool. No other watch or complication like it.

Martin Braun made a selection of astronomical-themed timepieces. The Selene moon phase watch with meteorite dial was beautiful. They all had ETA movements, but the complications were pretty cool.
Adam, your watch is not $20. It's a moon watch from Bulova, man! That's a great piece of history. You should feel proud of it!!

The Sky Dweller has a GMT function which is the wheel you see in the centre. You can actually change the month by actuating the right wheel using the bezel as well without having to change the date
That patek is tastefully done. Absolutely fabulous

The aventi's look like they are cheap ugly knockoff's of some better watches that you see on those Chinese online retailers like Etsy or Temu for around $150. It certainly didn't help the avanti's when they're presented between between that beautifully elegant Patek and that great group of Daytona's.
The Patek is an awesome timepiece and the new gold bracelet enhances it even more! Enjoy wearing it Michael

Michael I'm sorry to say but that Rolex Platinum Daytona is not a genuine platinum model.
It's got the old the old clasp, which does not come in that model. Also on the crown it has a big dot in the middle which is only for full gold pieces not Platinum. Platinum is two big dots on the outside with a smaller dot in the middle.
The Dial also looks after market, as the blue is incorrect as well as the bezel looks completely off.
underated comment. Great spot. The bezel looks really bad and you can't argue with the big dot in the middle. Perhaps an old gold daytona made to look like a platinum?

Omega have a lot of watches where you can move the hour hand back and fourth without having to interfere with the time keeping, it's so you can advance back and fourth say if you were travelling to different time zones, most of the Omega Master Coaxial movements have this feature, especially the De Ville and Constellation range, also some of the speedmasters have that function aswell, beautiful collection of watches Micheal...
But omega doesn’t have the brand cache! Ha-ha
And a lot now have silicon dioxide springs so aren’t affected by magnetism like a lot of Rolexes etc. Plus one can just walk into a boutique and buy one lol. Great watches 👍🏽

My favourite videos are the ones where you buy for other people. Being with you when you buy gives those of us who will never be able to do it a bit of a rush watching you do it for other people.
It's not that simple. You can blow thru your money if you don't have control but Michael is not stupid. He buys shit he can sell once he gets tired of it and make a profit while doing that.

Michael doesn't appreciate the high horology brands. We wont take A Lange and Sohne, Gronefeld, Voutilainen, Grubel Forser. He only likes mass produced brands like Rolex and garbage like Jacob and Co.

3 Daytonas and a Skydweller - bought just recently. Joke - he won't even wear them. That's what's wrong with Rolex right now.
Watches for that price are more likely to be collectibles, their value grows over time, so every scratch or damage would lower their value significantly.

Michael, off topic but why don't we ever hear about your private jet? Do you own it outright, did you buy it on a timeshare, did you chip in with others, did you buy it to charter out? Can you do a video on it, why you bought it, how you use it, do you charter it. How often do you use it?

This is as much an investment portfolio as a watch collection. Especially the Rolexes will increase in value substantially over time.

that circle rotating in the Skydweller in the middle is the GMT!! nowdays watches are able to tell you what time is in your country, France, China and at what time you must take the chicken out of the oven 🤣🤣🤣 I LOVE the skydweller that is why I went to a rolex boutique a week ago, and they substantially told me... impossible! back to the video... The 5724R with the roségold bracelet is just beautiful. Better than a 5711R in my opinion. Also not a fan of the iced out end links of the factory leather strap.
Prices are actually way higher than quoted in the video. Do not stop buying.
The sky dweller also features a gmt function that is why the hour hand can be moved separately. It is the most complicated watch because of the sarus calendar which is able to represent the leap year mechanically.
