    Congratulations I'm so happy for you how do I go about finding somebody to install my upcoming laundromat like yours In South Carolina

      Since my Laundromat is all Huebsch Equipment, and this is the brand you want? You will need to find a distributor in your area that sells Huebsch Equipment. You can also contact Alliance Laundry and find a list of distributors. Good luck.

    I'm in the process of building a similar store. My unit is in the middle of two other businesses so I would need to vent through the roof along with my make up air. What kind of setup did you install to allow make up air through the roof?

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  5 месяцев назад

      I put big plenums, and you can get with a good HVAC company who can measure how much makeup air you will need. Then they can make the plenums that will go on the roof along with your vents.

    I really appreciate the time you have taken to document your build. Do you have naturally soft water, or do you need water softeners in your laundromats?

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  Год назад

      It's not exactly naturally soft, but I don't have a softer. Not too many problems though.

    Love the place. Is one hot water tank really enough for whole place?

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  3 года назад +3

      I can always add another water tank if needed, but from my experience most customers are using cold water anyway. So far I have not had one issue. remember it always rinses in cold, so really you aren't using that much hot water

    Is copper required by code or would pex be allowed? What kind of gas btu requrements are you needing? Looks like a 4" main line.

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  Год назад

      I supposed it would depend on where you reside. Call the state you live in, or call a local plumber who is up to date with codes.

    What floor are putting on after this? Vinyl or tile?

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  11 месяцев назад

      You can take a look at the floor on the final video of this buildout. We did choose vinyl plank, LVT floor.

    4:15 -- you have ONE water heater for that whole place? Not enough.

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  2 года назад

      Apparently it is plenty. I am so tired of distributors over selling water heaters and other things people don't need. Actually, I haven't had one complaint on hot water, and won't unless it goes out. water circulation for immediate hot water.

    are there any electric comercial grade dryers???
    i ask couse in my country most dryers are electric

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  3 года назад

      I'm not sure about commercial electric dryers. I know that Gas dryers dry so much faster, and they cost less to run. I wish you luck trying to find electric dryers. You may want to call Alliance laundry systems?

    hi, i really need some honest answer from veteren, im opening a new laudromat in my own country, i am ordering STACKERS dryers on top and washer on bottom its cheaper but i wonder why most shop prefer to just but it separately? is it more durable if i buy it separately? please help.

    • @splashemoutlaundromat
      @splashemoutlaundromat  3 года назад +1

      When you stack the machines it completely takes away from the dryer if someone is washing, and vice versa. I like the fact that when the machine is by itself, the customer walks over to the drying, thus leaving the washer open to the next customer. After drying they go to the folding section. You won't have to worry about people on top of each other, waiting on a dryer, plus people like using more than one dryer, and if they use a dryer above the washer that isn't being used, well now that washer won't be used until that dryer is finished, or they could argue and fight over washers and dryers. I don't like it. Also, it will be much easier mechanical wise if something breaks. If the dryer breaks they may not want to use the washer underneath, because they will think that dryer goes to that washer and won't use it. People like choice, and I believe stack washer and dryer is taking that choice away. It's fine in a home, but not in a laundromat where people want to get in and out as fast as they can. It's all about efficiency. The cost will out weigh the mistake.

      @@splashemoutlaundromat well, people in our city is more kind to each other. im not worried about that, what im worried is the durability if it. but the washer and dryer can both running at the same time right? im worried in long term the dryer heat might cause harm to the washer machine.
