Wood - size of your choice but larger than flange
Screws (4 for each tube)
4" 45 degree elbows
4" closet flange
3" snap in shower drains
2.5" + hole saw

Great video! When I got to the part of drilling the holes, after watching your husband, I place the elbow on the wooden foot and flange. Then turned it up on its side on a table and had my sister hold down on the board base and I was able to go right through it with little trouble. I built four, two of the elbows fit on the flange perfect but the other two are tight and don't go all the way on. I already tried it out on my dog, just getting her to put her nose in it for the food in my hand and she nailed it.

If you don’t want to cut holes, use 4 inch PVC sanitary tees with three openings and a PVC toilet flange w a metal ring to secure to the wood. I used gorilla glue to lubricate and secure the screws and pre drilled my holes. If your screws poke out any, just use a Dremel to grind them down, or even a hammer in a pinch. The sanitary tees are more expensive, but give a great surface area that’s enclosed to concentrate the odor. Also, use the 4 inch sanitary tees, good room for your hand to reward and for the dog to stick their head inside. The total cost for me using the more expensive black PVC, wood, glue, screws and tees for 3 tubes was just under 200 bucks (Dec ‘23) at Home Depot. These are super secure, heavy, and easy to use and clean and sanitize. Plus, you can “rent” them out to recoup your cost, or just ask ppl for a few bucks if they want to use them.
