One of my favorite Missy moments was when Sheldon was fixing a hot beverage for Paige & he and George were in the kitchen talking and Missy came in and danced around with Glitter on her face....it was like the little girl came out. :)
All 3 siblings are super smart in different ways: Sheldon’s book smart, Georgie is a prodigy mechanic and Missy is emotionally intelligent and highly empathic. So learning this, it sucks knowing that Sheldon becomes a literal rocket scientist, Georgie starts his own successful business chain and Missy…became a waitress and a single mom. Sure, the creators obviously weren’t thinking that far ahead when they introduced her in TBBT, but still…
Those are actually good qualities for a parent to have in order to raise children. A lot of parents lack empathy and emotional intelligence and end up being awful parents who yell and hit their kids instead of taking the time to understand them. It’s sad that people think it take’s absolutely nothing to raise kids but finances and having kids is throwing your life away making you incapable of anything.
I believe there was episode where she learned few skills about hassling from Georgie - so if she was able to learn that at young age i believe she is capable of learning at least basic business skills as adult.@@christopherbingham5092
I loved when Missy comforted her mother after everyone turned their back on all of them and Missy gave her mother a consoling hug telling her it's going to be okay.
Missy is the best on this show. She always tops Sheldon in any game, any argument, and any discussion about life. She has so many great moments, and all because she is played by such a talented actress.
Missy is definitely the best character in Young Sheldon and my favorite. I love when she wanted to go to Red Lobster with her dad and when she join the baseball team. I was upset when she stop playing baseball.
I was upset when she gave her dad an attitude for taking her to red lobster when she was like 11 or 12 cos she said her friends go their with their dates
Missy is definitely the best character in this show. I love the chemistry between her and Paige in the Season 6 episode where she stole dad's truck. And once Young Sheldon officially coming to an end, she will defintely star in a coming of age film one day. Raegan Revord is so talented!
I like Missy as a character (sassy yet emotionally intelligent) before she entered her preteen years. It’s quite infuriating yet also depressing just seeing where she’s going. Either way, Raegan Revord did a fantastic job with her performance at such a young age.
One of my favorite Missy moments was when Sheldon remembered his meewmaw receipe for making brisket, and he was not even two years old, and he told Missy don't you remember you were there, and Missy looks and her mind goes blank and she responds, "i got nothing". That was so hilarious lol
I loved when she went to comfort mary after the call from the uni president! And when she voluntarily went to church with mary at the start of the next season. Despite her attitude sometimes, missy has a heart of gold💛
I'm thankful for these great picks. Missy has strugled in the las episodes of seaon 6 but overall she is very mature and has a good heart. I loved that time Paige ran away from home for the first time and Missy had the courage ad intelligence to tell Mary about that.
I love all the other characters, Missy & Georgie the most. I had a strong feeling Season 7 was going to be their last because Sheldon's plot line is becoming difficult to make interesting, plus with the young star growing up and being so big, he's not coming off as cute anymore but I was really hoping they'd carry the show on with the other characters cause they all bring so much comedy to the show.
Sheldon is the kind of person to help you with your homework, but Missy is the kind of person who helps you when you’re feeling sad and lonely and just need some love from someone❤
I didn't hear them all because I was in the shower but my favorite is when Missy and Sheldon were being studied and she was shining at all the interpersonal stuff and talked about the monkey tea party and told the lady dr she should wear a belt and her hair down and that the male dr liked her. And the lady dr took Missy's advice and at the end the 2 drs went on a date.
I actually think that was the better aspect of the episode. The fact that she recognized the two doctors are crushing on one another and urges hers to let her hair down and flirt with Sheldon's. You can even see her mouthing "thank you" when she complimented her on wearing the belt around her lab coat. Then again, that may have been part of the emotional intelligence claim about her made in the video.
Missy is my favorite. She needs to keep acting after the show goes off. She is a delightful actress and Young Sheldon is my favorite show. Thank you for sharing this 😊
Mid-Westerners wouldn't have been fooled by the tornado scene. Tornados and rain don't ever mix. The rain abruptly stops, it gets really quiet all of a sudden - even the birds don't chirp - and the light takes on an eerie greenish hue. Then you hear a sound like a freight train coming before you see the actual tornado, so it doesn't take you by surprise. Fortunately, George knew better than to try to outrun it in his car or hide under it. But as a Texan, he should've known better than to be out during a storm warning anyway.
I just discovered this show by short clips and that is my fav so far. I haven't laughed that hard since that episode on Malcolm In The Middle where Stevie the wheelchair kid finds courage and starts shooting...can't remember what, but it was funny. This show and that one were both gifted with great writers.
I’ve only just started watching Young Sheldon 2 weeks ago. She is my favourite character in the series I’ve seen so far. I’m so looking forward to seeing her character development in the coming series. Both writers and the young actor hit the mark with this character!
This is the best of your episodes. You pretty much nailed all of the examples I could think of. I especially liked her reading the 2 scientists in the twin study and getting them to realize their interest in each other.
# 1 was definitely my favorite, but you didn't include one my favorites. Its when Sheldon took part either the fridge or stove and got yelled at . He's in his room and starts to cry & instead of mocking him, Missy just hugs him!
I don't watch "young Sheldon" but, this was a great top. Thanks, Emely, and a happy monday night to you as well. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
i love Missy - she's feisty, spunky and always keeps it real. she may not be book smart but she's highly intuitive, insightful and capable of caring for others. she and Georgie are my favorites, i love how they treat each other as siblings (minus Sheldon).
I started watching the show, obviously like most, because of TBBT. Sheldon was always my fav, but.... This show is its own beautiful monster hit. Missy reminds me of.. well... Me. I could go on and on about being a tomboy, growing up in a very religious Southern household, in the '80s. Always being misunderstood and underestimated. Lets just say Missy and I have a lot in common. *Sigh* What I WILL say is that Miss Reagan Revord is an EXTREMELY talented up and coming young actress and very sincerely hope she's around for a long time and continues to work and be successful at whatever she does ❤
It's funny that the sibling dynamic in YS is the exact opposite to Modern Family. In Young Sheldon the two normies are offten ignored whilst the brainy one is coddled. In MF the brainy one is despised and ignored whilst the two normies are coddled.
It's a real shame that there will only be one more season. I started watching it again over the holidays and almost couldn't stop. It was a bit hard to get into at the beginning. But from the second season onwards, the series really gets going. I really enjoyed season 6 in particular. I can hardly wait to see what happens next.
Here’s an interesting fact three cast members of young Sheldon worked previously for Disney and Pixar Annie pots who played Sheldon’s grandmother Disney lovers would her for voicing Bo peep in Toy Story, Wallace Shawn who played doctor sturges was also known for the same movie as the voice of Rex, and Craig T Nelson who was the voice of Mr incredible in the incredibles.
I love this show! I just recently got access to the last two seasons*, and am re-watching the entire series, now on season 4. Missy was always my favorite character, though all of the characters are really great and very well cast. They really struck gold with the casting, especially Missy and Georgy, and of course, Sheldon. (* Seasons 4 and 5, but now that I look below at some of the comments, it appears they may not be the last seasons after all.)
She may be my favorite character of the cast. I guess its the writers that give her such good lines to speak but she sure pulls it off. The time the twins went to be studied was my favorite. Missy sparking the romance between the man and woman was outstanding.
My favorite show has come to an end. But I'll be watching reruns and I'll be watching the spin off with Georgie and I'll be watching the careers of all these great actors.
There are too many to think of any particular one. You had the mischievous Missy, consoling Missy, illiterate Missy, perceptive Missy, and the rebellious Missy. Raegan Revord is an amazing young actress!
She was the character. Sheldon was nice and her other brother and parents. But she was just perfect for her character. NOthing more or less. She just killed it and much more.
Honestly I have 2 older sibling a older brother who acts a lot like sheldon and me&my sisters which a lines similar to to Georgie&missy it funny how I can understand that dynamic
Missy is the spark plug in "Young Sheldon", and it's hard to tag a favorite "Missy moment", but I DID love when she opened up a can of whupazz on that pitcher that tried to lay a beanball on her! (6:55). If I had been blessed with a daughter instead of boys, I would have wanted a "Missy" because she could handle herself and deal with everyday life. She is smarter (from a real life perspective) than almost anyone else in "Young Sheldon" except for MeeMaw.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again… Missy is the best character on YS… George sr is #2, then Meemaw, George jr, Mary and Sheldon . I’m tempted to rate Billy Sparks ahead of Sheldon lol. I love all the actors, but I definitely have favourite characters!
My favorite Missy moment is when her father took her to Red Lobster. She realized she loved lobster and wanted to eat it every day when she grew up and would marry a rich man to afford it......or marry a guy who worked at Red Lobster.
Missy being such a great character in the spin-off, she should have been Raj's love interest in the last season of TBBT rather than another Indian 'type'.
The most badass Missy moment was when she was talking to someone during a test and the teacher thought she was cheating. Which was then followed by my favorite Missy line in the entire show. “I guess you would know what cheating looks like. Ask your husband” My girl did not just say that to her damn teacher😭
I am a girl Dad (4 of them) and there have been a lot of moments in life when Dad is not the best fit for a situation. That being said I could relate to the episode where Missy got her first period and how George handled it! It was funny, a bit sad and so relateable!!
Hard to pick a favorite, love all the main characters! One that is great is Mandy's father! How can you not Love Memaw? Billy is great too, just love them all, wish it never had to end!!!
I can ONLY say that Missy had been a VERY important character on Young Sheldon because she had been his Twin sister, and, beyond that, there had been A good Amount OF POSSIBLE SITUATIONS WHERE SHELDON HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO GO ON TO DEAL WITH LIFE IN GENERAL, BUT, WITH SOME HELP WITH LIFE, SHELDON MAY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DEAL WITH LIFE. Missy, head back, mouth open, sound asleep in Church! 🤣 Her delivery and timing are wonderful and what a doll!
She was the star - all the time.
I love Missy’s description of Sheldon. “He’s really smart and really dumb at the same time!”
That’s how I describe my Golden Retrievers
When Sheldon is looking for friends and Missy told him to check the borrowers card on the book. That's awesome.
I just started binging these

@@kisaki5684 Actually, that is understandable in my opinion.
Mine too! And the one I can’t stand the most is the pastor and the mom. I’m an atheist like Sheldon and I always enjoy seeing him contradict religion.
