I think you missed the opportunity to mention the acknowledgement Sheldon made in the finale speech. Not only did he recognize the contribution his friends made to his success, he acknowledged Howard's title in a way he had never done before. He had always been "Mr. Wolowitz" the whole series. He acknowledge that Howard was an astronaut in his speech. That is one of the kindest things he has ever said to Howard.
That’s one of the things that ruined the last four seasons for me. I get making them close and friendly, but honestly, it irked me that they were focusing WAY TOO DAMN MUCH on Sheldon. They shouldn’t have given Sheldon undeserved pity for getting dumped. They should’ve made them move OUT OF THE BUILDING, at some point. I didn’t like Penny supporting Sheldon’s bullshit so many times in the last four seasons nor did I like how it left off. I mean, Amy does it cause she’s pathetically desperate, but I expected Penny to stick by her convictions from the early seasons. Like in the episode about the House of models.
@@MitchellFace It’s understandable why Amy supported his bullshit: she’s pathetically desperate. But Penny… she was smarter and better than that. Became a hypocrite because in season two she told Leonard to stop enabling Sheldon’s stupid behavior.
Maybe it was ALL of the things Sheldon and his friends told Howard about his father. That way, no matter what Howard picked, it was true. That seems very Sheldon like doesn't it?
Sheldon was a more likable character than people make him out to be. He is unafraid of saying mean things to his friends, but he says them to their face and he genuinely cares for them and doesn’t let anything happen to them.
Wow, what show did you actually watch to think of that crap? Not let anything happen to them? What did Sheldon do when it came to a project that was created by Leonard and Howard that the military was interested in? He went behind their backs and reinvented the project as a communications project. Why did Sheldon make Leonard wear a red sweater to teach him a lesson about "walking in another person's shoes" when it was really about getting back at Leonard for making light of his quirks? The bitcoin venture where Leonard, Howard, and Raj went in on but decided to keep Sheldon out of it. After it had amassed a fortune, Sheldon tells them he took said bitcoin away from them because he admits he's the kind of person that holds onto a grudge.
Sheldon comforting Howard after his mum suddenly passes away is so touchingly poignant, especially if you've seen the spinoff, and know how withdrawn Sheldon became after his own dad's death.
Sheldon was sometimes often a arrogant jerk but he did have some amazing character growth throughout the show and did some kind gestures for friends and this list proves it 😊👍👍
I think the fetus-friendly party that Sheldon threw for Bernadette was so sweet that I'm jealous that I wasn't also there!!! That sounded like a lot of fun!!!
Sheldon cares much more for his friends than this segment infers; he simply has difficulty in saying the right words when they’re hurt. It’s his actions or his attempts to say something helpful that count. And, for ex., when Amy tells him he has hurt everybody’s feelings before giving his Nobel speech, he had no idea or intention of doing anything of the sort. I don’t understand why so many ppl don’t think Sheldon is autistic (high functioning, yes, but definitely autistic). He was executive producer of Young Sheldon and one of the first things that he does in the first season is to have both Sheldon and Missy tested, showing YS has an IQ off the charts but no visible EQ whatsoever. He doesn’t understand social situations, and seeing pictures of (animals) looking happy, say, frustrated, depressed, upset, worried means absolutely nothing to him. He sees animals. That’s it. And the same can be applied to social situations in his own life. He has to first understand that a bad or upsetting thing has occurred, then attempt to comfort a friend. I wish more ppl understood this.
I love that scene between Leonard and Sheldon at the Cal Tech cafeteria. Leonard is venting about being nervous before his date with Penny, wondering if it’s a mistake, should he keep the date or cancel. Sheldon, tired of listening to talk of emotions and relationships, asks Leonard what he’s looking for from Sheldon to bring the conversation to a close. Leonard says he wants Sheldon’s opinion if he should go on the date. Sheldon simply says “Schroedinger’s cat.” Leonard says “My God, that’s brilliant!” And Sheldon replies “You seem surprised.” It’s a great scene and exchange!
No surprise what number one was going to be it was one of Sheldon‘s sweetest moments. Honestly, I have no doubt he a sweet guy. He just has trouble understanding social conventions and how to actually understand when he’s being insensitive. When someone like him has a high functioning mind like that it’s hard to see outside yourself because you’re always caught up thinking in your head a lot.
Well, that's just an excuse Sheldon uses because for someone who is so up his own head, the roommate agreement he makes is designed to get his way while he says "it's to get the right way which is happy coincidence that it's also my way"
Here's some other Young Sheldon moments which should've been included: 1. Singing Soft Kitty to his newborn niece. 2. Letting Paige stay in his dorm room when she was lonely. 3. Keeping Paige from doing anything reckless while she was drunk. 4. Giving his hospital roommate who had heart surgery an Iron Man comic book. 5. Getting baptized to please his mom. 6. Helping his mom find her faith again after she loses it after a teenage girl from the church died in an accident.

Nope. Penny was one of the best and fav characters, but the stupid writers RUINED all the characters, especially PENNY. I hate how Kaley also praises the way they ruined her character. Shows she never cared. Now, she’s a one-note HACK.
Sheldon's sympathy to Howard after his mom was deep. Especially both loosing parent and i can say Howard got Sheldon mark hamil to officiate his wedding. So they may debate but are friends as well.
Without watching - I'll have to guess that #1 is the bit when Howard's mother dies and he gets the call in the comic book store. Will come back later after watching. :)

Actually Sheldon did have his license when he drove penny to the hospital. The shower scene is season three, he secretly gets his license in season two.......

As Amy pointed out, Sheldon's friend at best tolerate him but on multiple occasions did he show he knew what he was doing and it was geared towards a willful negative effect on those around him, including Amy
That’s kind of what kept the show going for so long. That’s why it ended when Sheldon finally showed appreciation for his friends who tolerated him for so long.
@aeroromeo7431 you mean all the other times he showed such appreciation but also showed how much of a condescending, arrogant, and all around jerk the other 90 percent of the time? @@jeremyblackmouth3323 You know who you can blame for Sheldon doing all that crap to his friends over the years?
