Very nice crossing, love the alarm. Another train is approaching fast beep very nice! Never heard this before. Nice barriers also. Fab catches ❤ & lovely crossing house.😊
Great video and catches! Think I've only ever managed to catch three trains at one crossing in one activation once, at 32nd Street in Bessemer, AL, which is technically a double crossing between the NS AGS South District, the CSX Mineral Subdivision, and the Birmingham Terminal Railroad. However, in that case, there was a southbound NS mixed freight that had stopped on the crossing to meet a northbound NS mixed freight, and by the time both NS trains had cleared, CSX M730 (which was the train's symbol at the time) had begun to depart from CSX's intermodal terminal in the middle of Bessemer, which involved the train going over part of the Birmingham Terminal Railroad to another part of the CSX Mineral Subdivision in Bessemer, on its daily trip over to CSX Boyles Yard in Birmingham and back.
Yes obviously the train to arrive last swiped in on the treadle before the one to arrive second as you wouldn't normally have a double stay at an AHB with both trains coming from the same direction. I guess there is a station to the left of the crossing and the signalman forgot to have it registered that the next train from that direction would be stopping at the station. But even so if you look at the amount of time between the first and second trains I guess that if the train the other way had come half way between them it probably would have produced a triple stay in more standard circumstances.
This trip I went all around the Nottingham / Long Eaton / Mansfield / Robin Hood Line area. I'm only releasing a select few for now, but the rest will follow at some point
Love the ‘warning another train is approaching’

Excellent 👍
Excellent video. Never seen a triple stay at an ahb before!
Brickyard Lane crossing in Hucknall has been known to do it a few times, but I've never known it on a full, mainline only one!
Omg you're so lucky
Nice shot of those trains matey 😁
Great video of this uncommon capture matey!
Thanks, Jar! 😁
Jeez, a triple stay at an AHB! That is so rare!
Incredible catch!
Very lucky!
Rare
Nice video at Barton lane level crossing in Nottinghamshire by the way
Wow! Nice! This wouldn't happen down in Cornwall

Lots of Brilliant Videos and Catches there! Where else did you go when you were in Nottinghamshire?

@ Ok, I’ll look forward to them! 👍🏻
I thought the only AHB crossing that can do this is in Brickyard
It's still probably the one that does it most
All double track AHBs can probably do it.
