Good video, as an Irish person I can confirm this is very accurate. We do have two SISU 6X6 APC’s which was not mentioned, we also use the javelin missile which can be used as low flying anti air but the RBS-70 would have been the main SAM. There is actually 9 PC-9M’s although one is slowly under repair and not in service. These are due to be replaced in the next 1-2 years with jet aircraft being an option for reintroduction with Áer Chór na hÉireann. The 80 Mowag Piranhas have undergone significant life extension works with upgraded technology but are due to be replaced in the coming years, I believe a heavier French version is being sought. The naval reserve have recently received the first of four IPV’s which have two gun mounts for GPMG’s and the General Navy will receive a new €300M MRV in the coming years but recruitment remains the biggest challenge here. The budget is just shy of €1.5B this excludes any procurement already agreed, however funding is on the rise and hopefully the Defence Forces can attract the right people which will help strengthen the force and nation.
