I bought this as a gift for my son who loves to do woodwork. He was so excited to get this book, he had put it on his wish list. so was very happy to receive this. He told me its a great book, and explains so much about woodworking.
Bought this for my son-in-law as a Christmas gift. Since I enjoy woodworking also, I read through it to make sure it would be as described. Lots of projects and clear directions and information. Thinking about getting another one for myself!
Excellent demonstration. It would be worthy to show a complete video making a good sized box with this joinery, using nice hardwoods, all the way to the finish. With your skills, it would be a masterpiece.
The "pins first" approach, this. Have seen only one other video which features it. After many unsuccessful attempts at "tails first" dovetails yesterday afternoon, I'll give this a go today. Thanks for this tutorial!
I gave this to my brother as a gift. He is a beginner woodworker and he loved it. Some of the projects featured seemed a little out of date to me by just browsing through it, but then again, I am not the woodworker
hi, and i am here again watching your video and asking questions. :). i like your marking tool, its more convienent the others that i see. would you please tell me its make or link, i wish to get one. i am trying to make a wood work garage for myself, and i look up to you for inspiration. thanks
That is one of the jobs that I like the most in the wood, you assemble them well done ... I work the wood in another style (on the lathe) but this is another story and it's great 👍👍👍
Many great ideas, plans and information about woodworking. Very useful for me. I made one chair and table coffee in line with plans from this book. Satisafaction.
What I REALLY like, is that the finished joint, still has raised points of the dove tail. Which is telling of something handmade. I would leave that as is
Nice work,I’ve done mitred dove tails before but may I ask you a question please? What is that little tool called that helps you get the straight cut & the mitred cuts on the ends? Any information is greatly appreciated!!!
Traditional dovetails have very small pins so that a minimum of end grain shows. eg on the side of a drawer. This necessitates cutting the pins first enabling you to mark the tails easier. If you attempt secret mitre dovetails ( good luck ) they can only be done cutting pins first.

Great job. No glue no screws what an amazing art work 👌

This is oddly satisfying at 2 A.M. in lockdown. Great job !
Quick shipping. Got this for my husband. Lots of project ideas, instructions and pictures. Husband likes it.

This is why old furniture lasts forever....mitered joints and hand working the wood. I'm going to try this.
Simple, ease to read and adapt to what materials you can afford to buy.
It's so cool you have your shop next to a racing track! Awesome video, thanks!
Obviously, I know this video is sped up. But you made me realize I could cut out bigger chunks to make removing waste a lot quicker. Beautiful!
Excellent book. Loaded with information on every aspect of woodworking. highly recommended.
A very thorough education of woodworking.
Detail step by step illustrations, easy to follow and perfectly priced
Clear instructions for a beginner. Good book
Love watching craftsmen at work.... Hate to waste nature's resources...
I figured this would have maybe 10 or 20 projects. It has a lot more than that. Well worth the price for the novice to avid woodworker.
Good job! Really nice
Молодец, нынешняя молодежь этого не сделает раньше мы занимались всем этим очень красивая работа и очень полезная
Чем она полезная,для чего это он сделал,что это вообще

Search the keyword 榫卯, I bet your brother would like it.
When you have all the right stuff and know exactly how to use it. Nice.
awesome gift ideas, quick delivery and great pricing.
Things I’ve learned from this video: you live by a race track, you have a pet wood pecker, you make awesome dove tails!
I gave this to my Dad for Christmas. He is very happy with it and is using it for his volunteer work at the Y.
