Instead of using material as a template use blue painters tape. Tape shoe where you want material applied to & rub in areas that you want indented into the show use pencil & trace it out. Then take off shoe cut tape out that you traced. Then lay on material part you wanna use & this will be a great template to cut material with. So much easier & less waste of material.👍🏼
This is the first video of yours that I've watched, and I just LOVE you! I take on big projects a lot and am pretty hard on myself when I don't immediately succeed, so your laid-back, easy-going instructions are exactly what I needed. I can't wait to see what else you have been up to here!
you can use any type of paint in an airbrush, acrylic, urethane, lacquer, enamel as long as it can be thinned and cleaned out of the airbrush. For this type of work you should use a .5 needle.
Modpdge Dishwashwer Safe instead of Modpodge for fabric appears better. You add it to the fabric, which is better advice than Modpodge gives. They apply a coat to shoes only. Thanks!
Treats with Tasha it wasn’t wet but it was to remove the excess glue from the side it didn’t really need to be wet because I removed the glue right away. Using a wet cloth wouldn’t be a bad thing either
Kirah_ iModel Films - he wore them several months until he couldn’t fit them any more. They lifted at the toe but he’s really hard on shoes so I was surprised that they lasted that long.

I don’t recommend paint on the midsoles (rubber) because it always cracks and peels and comes off
You always come through for us Thank you so much ❤️
My pleasure. Thanks so much for the support
Thank you girl! You’re the best!
Unfortunately I cannot upload the picture of what I did :(

Hi! How long does the fabric stay on the shoes before peeling??
Thanks for sharing 🌷🌷❤❤❤
THANK YOU!!
Great job!! How did they hold up?
Hello, I hope all is well ❤️
I have a question, can you use the clear Elmer's Glue to cover your sneakers?
Thank you.
Also, may i suggest you get a pair of duck bill pointed tip applique scissors. It will help in the narrow cuts.
Does the Mod Podge(?) Work better than the E6000?
Can you do the sane and put the fabric glue on top at a sealent do you know? Thanks:)
When you get a notification in the middle of pressing a shirt!!!! 🤦🏽♀️😂😂😂 But I'm here 🙌😍💋
Lol! Hey Boo ✋🏾
sticker nam??
What kind of paint is that .. thank u ... love thr shoes
I really liked your video! I was wondering how long they hold up or how they do in rain?
Please where did you get this beautiful fabric from
Are you using regular black paint or is there a specific paint to use
What’s the difference in using the dishwasher safe and the fabric is it just apply part thank You!!
Do you know if there is some kind of adhesive rubber lace that I could glue around the circumference of where the fabric meets the sole?
What is the name of that product?
Hey where can I get fabric like that ??
Do you find that the fabric cracks in cold weather, or over time?
Where you get the fabric ?
What kind of fabric is this?
Love it. If you want to apply lace would it be the same process
gottadropitdiva - yes should work the same however you can probably test a small amount to make sure.
Tam's Sweet Life thank you
@@TamsSweetLife hi what kind of fabric is that?
I'm looking at adding sequined fabric to tennis shoes. Wouldn't the modgepodge dull the sequins?
Yes it would
Like #5!
Does it work on leather shoes
You are so creative
New subbie
Keisha H. - thanks so much 🤗
Quick question...did you let the dish washer safe mod podge cure for 28 days before use?
Keisha H. I didn’t hear about that actually but he actually just wore them for the first time last week for my daughters graduation.
Tam's Sweet Life okay. I just bought it today and the instructions says cure for that long. Uggh I'm so impatient lol
Hey! What were you using that cloth for? Was it wet to remove access glue?
Treats with Tasha it wasn’t wet but it was to remove the excess glue from the side it didn’t really need to be wet because I removed the glue right away. Using a wet cloth wouldn’t be a bad thing either
Can u use this for pockets
Did they crack at all? How long have they lasted?
Do I need the nails too?
Would it have been easier to cut out a pattern and add the heat bond and use your little iron
Have you ever had to remove fabric and start over
how much is that leather paint dear if you are in ug
is there a reason you used dishwashersafe mod podge over the fabric one
Yes, I didn't want the fabric to start peeling back if they got wet or if I had to clean them.
@@TamsSweetLife I was curious about this as well. Do you think you'd get the same protection using a water seal treatment on top of the fabric glue?
,😍😍
Can you use paper instead of fabric? How is the result?
i sorrybae - I’ve never tried that but I’m sure it could work as long as the paper is flexible enough. And it’s sealed really well.
Did the fabric ever lift ? I'm trying to find the right combination of glue so the fabric won't lift lol
Kirah_ iModel Films - he wore them several months until he couldn’t fit them any more. They lifted at the toe but he’s really hard on shoes so I was surprised that they lasted that long.
Why didn’t u just use barge infinity cement? These look really cool tho
I’ve never heard of that product
It’s really good shoemakers use it and what not
paper name
SO cute thanks for sharing have a BLESSED day today in our LORD GOD and savor JESUS CHRIST bye
R they washable
I actually didn’t try that. They held up pretty well, they even got wet and they were fine but I never washed them.
Let me have that airbrush kit
