He deff gave yall all the sauce for a nice easy custom .Only thing i think make it super clean is when u hand stitch the cut out pieces of fabric in white .simply get a hole punch (sewing tool) that makes even holes around. Stitch the white thread through the holes ,to give the appearance as if you sewed it own with a shoe cobler machine .Then glue it on and it looks like it came straight out the factory.
Thank you for posting, good video. The only thing I would take into consideration is the placement of the LV print (when applying your shape) It's not random, yes, you will use more fabric, but if you're gonna do it - - do it all the way.
I totally, totally gree. For me it's important to have the identical pattern of the fabric on each shoe. Applying the identical pattern to each shoe, levels up the product. Not matching the patterns onthe shoes, is like having stripes on a garment that are misaligned. That drives me crazy, 😆.
I 100% agree. I wouldn't be to worried about how much fabric I use, it's about actually seeing the LV monogram/pattern, so it looks more legit and not as corny. To me if the print is on all crooked or where you can't even see the whole LV then it looks as off as a replica bag would... You'd get more potential buyers to if it looks good and legible......but all in all it was a good technique
It's not supposed to be symmetrical it's a custom job it's not supposed to look like they were made by the 10's of thousands and ran down an assembly line & shipped out for everybody to ride along on the bandwagon as long as the shoes are politically correct and proper & symmetrical and also I'm pretty sure that y'all meant no disrespect whatsoever but that doesn't mean what u say isn't disrespectful or hurtful and etc. I know it's just what happens on social media & maybe I'm wrong but I feel like ur criticism and flaw-finder weren't needed on the comments even if u see it as constructive criticism or pointers or whatever it can still have a major effect & what if sum1 is in the worst place they've ever been in their whole life & depressed and about on the ledge and then on top of that the thing u wanted to make a career out of is custom Nikes but the internet country-club ladies start saying "I like it BUT" "it's ok but" "I wouldn't do it like that id do it better"
Such a cool video. I used to customize my white forces when i was in HS. Id usually wait until they werent crispy anymore, than use some paint markers or fabric. This brings me back. I appreciate u sharing ur knowledge.

why dont you teach your son Not to be so shallow and by brands you can afford , also next time when having a child THINK hard before you take on such a burden that you know you cant make ends meet . Use contraception
Have you ever used more porous fabrics like wool, flannel or cotton blends? I plan on doing it, just was curious if you had and had any tips beforehand. I know several fabric glues, but am curious what you used. I actually have a few fabric tips (grew up with family that were high end designers and master s at sewing) I can pass back to you.😊
@@BeanchiTNo It's not too late to add fabric, Just be careful with the areas where you've already painted that you don’t want fabric on. Make sure to protect those spots to avoid any unwanted mixing or damage. Take your time, and you'll be good

Great video. I was thinking if you own anything like cricut machine you can always scan your cutouts and have them uploaded so you can always have it for that specific shoe save time. Its just a thought. Keep up the great work.

I made this tutorial a minute ago, I'll be making an updated one soon, but yes I sand it. Sanding it helps remove the factory finish and creates a rougher texture allowing the adhesive or what ever glue you use to bond better.

Hello KB. I'm always making something. I believe it keeps the mind occupied. I really want to paint a pair of air force 1s. I want to use the color changing paint. The one that changes outside. What is the right paint to use
Great job. But you HAVE to cut out LV print the same. The toes should look the same for an authentic look. Checks should have the same pattern and so on. Also. Do you acetone before glue?
I’m very appreciative of you for sharing your skills. Very easy to follow video. Don’t wear Air Force 1’s but I may try this on a different shoe. Wishing you the best
