Beloved is one of those books that will scorch the hearts of its readers.
Our favorite kind, I dare say.
Very happy to discover your channel! Erudite and funny and articulate. Nice work.
Aww, you're very kind, thank you. Not sure where you got all that from this chaotic video but again thank you.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for giving me some of your time! Life is precious
Some great books there. Food for thought! The tbr list never seems to shrink. Best wishes.
One should always have a long tbr list, if anything, it's something to look forward to.
Dogs and classic literature? Not sure it gets better than that!
Thank you. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
why no 1080p ?
WoW - is Harry Potter considered a classic now?? OK it is only 25 years old now HAHAHA OK, but yes my wife is a Harry Potter fanatic and I bought her a new box set edition with all new artwork and yes indeed the artwork is astounding!!
My old great grandmother gave me an illustrated Mother Goose book from the 1880s, and good grief that thing was creepy and scary. I am also a nut for mythology - my favorite right now is a graphic depiction of Philippine mythology - actually I have several that I like quite a bit.
I read Pinnochio and Johnny Tremain when I was a boy!! Pinnochio was one of my earliest reads, and I remember it giving me the creeps - I should try and read it again! HAHA My vote for favorite classic adaptation off the top of my head is probably Ben Hur, but I only thought about it for 2 seconds HAHA
Maybe you can someday make a video on your favorite Brazilian Literature. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for watching, I love that your grandmother gave you books. I'm always trying to get people to do that for children.
I'll have to take a look at Philippine mythology I'm embarrassed to say I know nothing about it.
Ben Hur is a good one, probably among the last before the green-screen stuff ruined it all.
And yes, I am absolutely going to make a video about Brazilian Literature. I'm working my way up to it.
Oh hi cari, sometimes I forget you're an unicorn.
Son tus ojos, carino!
