Lots of people talking about their dislikes of the figure (rightfully so) yet I haven’t really seen anyone mention how accurate the paint work is. Definitely the first Andrew figure to convey the metallic shine accurately.
I love Tobey and Andrew, but I don’t understand is why they didn’t bother sculpting the tread details until the soles for Andrew considering SHF figures are very highly detailed
I would love a final swing tom holland suit but for me, Ive always distinguish tom as the spidey with red and black suit. Its very unique to him. Thats why for my trio, its the upgraded suit for tom.
11:02 the thigh swivel on my copy is the same as yours. It's tight to the point where its sort of clicky and there's too much friction for my liking. It doesn't feel like its gonna break but it's not as smooth as I'd like. In fact, my Tom and Tobey have the same issue. Did you fix yours?
The lack of fists is getting annoying. It was my main problem with Spider-Gwen, and again with Andrew Garfield? Why? It honestly feels deliberate at this point. The articulation is a bit disappointing, too. The neck really should be able to look down more, like the Tobey Maguire can. Same with the shoulder range, which is fine, but the previous figure just did it so much better. That said, I think this is probably the best figure for this incarnation of Spider-Man. Love the colours, and how they didn't break the design of the suit with the elbows. It's definitely not gonna be figure of the year, but it's one I'm happy to be getting soon (I waited to ship Kamen Rider Buffa for this guy!), and have as part of my shelf of Spider-People.
unfortunate about the fits and lack of Unmasked head glad you got a custom made one also I forgot that you uploaded a video of Peter 3 I'm late to the Party😅
Thanks for yet another amazing review! The overall finish and articulation on this figure is beautiful! Still sad that we couldn't get the unmasked head and not sure why there's no fist hands either. Definitely let us know if you find a third party Andrew Garfield head that fits this figure for a good deal. Still really excited to receive this guy, gonna be fun to pose with the others!
The only flaw i see in this figure is the belt. They made the belt thicker than the movie and it makes it seem like the torso is elongated. But other than that it is accurate in my opinion. Andrew was actually this lanky.
figure looks good but i think they made him a bit too lanky sure he’s the most slender but I think it just looks unnatural, i might just stick to marvel legends
None on mine. Paint is perfect, no loose joints. This one actually has 2 more points of articulation than the Toby version. It’s ridiculously accurate. I’ve had mine for 2 days and can’t put it down.
I understand not really caring about the figure being 100% accurate but... the proportions are still bad-looking. The neck and torso are just too long for it to look like an actual human, let alone Andrew Garfield. For a figure that costs this much I'd expect it to look like an actual person.
@@pletho79 yea the torsos length is fine. After looking at actualy photo side by side of andrews body in the suit next to a photo of the figure its pretty close. Main issues i see is the Torso is slightly too broad and the neck too long. People argued andrew has a long neck which is true but this figure went too long lol. I used to think the legs were too short but after seeing the comparison, not really. The thigh cuts definitely make them look shorter
@@eightysixedreviews sorry for not being specific. I meant its a bit too dim. I feel with brighter lighting it’ll help the figures pop more in your videos. With the dim lighting it kind of makes your hands stand out more than the figure if that makes sense

OG Mafex blows this out of the water still
@@alexharo1343 No. not only is the shine way to apparent there is also the aspect of the paint discolouration over time.
@@alexharo1343the Paint work for that figure is inconsistent, reds are different throughout the body but whatever makes you happy mate
@@alexharo1343 og mafex sucks ngl
@@alexharo1343 ngl that figure looked ass even before this came out. Maybe 10 years ago it was good but it's definitely not up to today's standard.

I really hope they release the Andrew head with Electro.
Love your reviews, man. Thank you for giving us awesome and informative content!
Great review !! This looks sick !! I have mine pre ordered and cant wait ! I think it ships out the 30th of this month
Very good and how much?
i hate when my favourite Spidey didn’t get head sculpt!
Damn!! It looks so good!! Can’t wait to get mine
Should i get the tobey or Andrew?

Wait a minute, where is the mask to put in is hand and the head sculpt??
I want a re-release of mafex venom, carnage, and Ben rielly
Me too
they already re released mafex venom

No fists, they did that with Gwen as well
Truly the Amazong Spider-man
I ordered mine on December 17 and i was supposed to get on June 21 or June 22 and on that day it got canceled
The details under Andrew’s foot sucks to be missing however the tobey one, its just a flat red actually 😂
Amazing review man keep up the good work ‼️‼️
When will they ship I got mine from hobby genki
I just got a shipping notice!
@@diego___q i didnt😔 where do you see it?
la figura me encantó es preciosa 😎😍
Has anyone heard of any QC issues on the Andrew figure? I know the left leg on the Toby figure has been found to be loose on a lot of stock.

Yeesh, I usually give proportions a pass. But here it’s kinda noticeable 😬

I bought it but even I can admit it. It’s frustrating that people can’t be honest with themselves about the same critiques.
it is very distracting, i still really want this figure though.

@@AMIRACLEISMEyeah fr, I think the upper body reminds me of Andrew.
The thongs are so Ugly😭😭😭
we just got to admit ourselves and call something bad for what it is. This Spider-Man line lower body is just horrible.
Agreed
Any tips on how to fix the giraffe neck?
MAFEX GONNA RUN OVER THIS FIGURE NEXT YEAR😂
I really like your reviews. One thing i would like to critique tho is i feel you should improve the lighting in them
