Completely disagree with that comparison like I’ve said many times as not even the tightest pattern setup at 40 would ever compare to a rifle in close as a rifle is one projectile with tss you actually yield more leeway than you’d think due completely to the payload count they have
I’m not talking about 40 yards, I’m talking inside of 20 yards. Even the good “hunting” patterns at 40 yards aren’t much bigger than your fist at 20 and in.
Vortex has a absolute repair or replace warranty. I understand some models may not fit a preference. They dont care how it happened, they will take care of you. Awesome gun and compact.
Great video. I agree with you about the break weight. I think my issue comes from just trigger memory. I used to shoot a lot of rifles and in the spring grabbing the shotgun the long take up and slack caused me to flinch anticipating that 2-3 lb crisp breaking point on my rifles. I just don’t shoot rifles as much and think that’s not as big an issue
This gun helped me in a bear attack. I was walking with my girlfriend when we came upon a grizzly. 1 shot to the knee and she was down while I made my escape. Miss her though
Did you adjust the trigger pull on that model or have you heard of anyone adjusting the the trigger on that 940 turkey model i personally like the trigger the way it came from the factory especially the NO creep in the trigger the say it came!!
I need to check the trigger pull on my Stevens 301 20 guage for the heck of it,i know I like it,I got a Lyman digital guage.Averaging right at 4.5lb,breaks like a glass rod.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I believe my Lyman is calibrated pretty true but that is great insurance to be able to compare them against each other.Do you guy’s 301’s triggers break like glass rods ?
I can handle a heavy trigger I do not however like a gritty trigger that creeps or has excessive travel. I wish there was a way to measure recoil. Id go back to a 12ga but my 870 is zero fun to shoot after about 6 oz of shot I’m done. That gun is very cool! Maaayyyybbee you can talk mossberg into a 940 20ga?
I like the trigger pull test. It’s like shooting a rifle at close range with these setups these days. Thank y’all for doing them.
That is correct

I’m aware reread what I said I was talking about in tight lol

Wasn’t a vortex on there lol
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA yep, it was a riton, just suggesting a vortex.
@lesr4105 I’ll stick with Holosun never have an issue they are beasts from our testing so far
Good one thanks
Yessir!

Everyone has their preferences all that matters is finding what fits your style 🤌🏽💪🏽

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
you have some nice triggers. My Girsan MC312 measures over 7lbs with my Lyman gauge. Keep it up.
We’ve been lucky I guess we’ve tested almost every gun we have now and only one has a trigger that high
Lyman Digital trigger gauge. Stevens 301 20 GA 10 pull Avg. 5lb 6oz
Don’t doubt it one bit we just checked both moose’s and my 301’s 20 gauges 5 pull average on each they were insanely close
Did you adjust the trigger pull on that model or have you heard of anyone adjusting the the trigger on that 940 turkey model i personally like the trigger the way it came from the factory especially the NO creep in the trigger the say it came!!
No we don’t see the point of working on the triggers as it’s a shotgun not a rifle
This one was as it came and it’s perfect
I dont have a gauge but my sa 20 feels way harder to pull then my beretta 20
Well they will vary!

My Lyman trigger gauge should be here Wednesday so we can check them to each other and really provide as good of a reference weight test as we can

@TTT-du6oj not sure what a glass rod breaks like but ours are smooth we love em
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA It means with no creep or sponginess, all of the sudden, sounds like yours does the same, they are good triggers and guns
@TTT-du6oj then you betcha ours are that way 🤣🤣

This gun is slick!
Rumour has it sub gauges are coming for this gun 🤫
