- On September 14, 2019, the first phase of the O-Train Confederation Line opened between Blair and Tunney's Pasture. Now, you can experience the O-Train from home! Enjoy this rear-view perspective of the ride as we travel eastbound, leaving from Tunney's Pasture. This ride was filmed in mid-August 2024.
The ride captured in this video was operated at a slower speed in some areas due to Temporary Speed Restrictions (TSR). It is approximately 4 minutes and 10 seconds longer than it would be at full line speed.
The O-Train uses Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs that use semi-automation (GoA2), with an electric rail operator on board. In 2025, the line will be extended east to Trim in Orleans and to Moodie and Algonquin in 2026 to the west.

Did you film this the same day?? If so I might’ve been on it haha. Brought my three year old for her first time on a train 😊
Hi. It was filmed over a month ago actually.
The first time is always special. I'm sure they enjoyed it tremendously.
@@RailFansCanada she absolutely loved it. My dad did the same for me when the Alstoms opened on line 2 ages ago 😃
