I developed depression, ruined relationships, started terrible bad habits, lack self preservation and self care skills, have 0 time management skills, etc. People seem to think that we just want this or something, but in reality its like we’re just trapped sometimes, watching our life go by because our brain doesn’t give us the stimulus to live correctly. So for the people that have adhd and are going through this same thing, you are not alone and you are more than a disorder.

A few of my friends have been diagnosed with ADHD, and odds are it isn't the same for everybody with ADHD, but I feel as though we have a lot in common in different ways. The way people think we would "want" something as life changing as ADHD or OCD, and how they don't know how it can effect your life. I've been told I'm "wasting time" or "being stupid" by having the need to do things that others just won't understand. It may be rough, not just for me, but for everybody struggling. I wholeheartedly agree with what he says, though. You are SO SO SO much more than a disorder. It may be a struggle, but it doesn't define you. You're stronger than you will ever know. Just hang in there!!
