Big thumbs up from Nepal. Finally someone is talking about doctors and our efforts. And how much we invest our time in studying and spend whole life for patients. No toilet breaks, no food on time. everyday we teach people to stay healthy and yet we never manage to do that in our own life. Nepal has the same status now. No protection from government and goons entering hospital everyday amd beating and insulting doctors. And yet our government is silent on these issues. I was going to sleep thought lets watch this video and seriously it felt so good. Thank you. Hope doctors in india get protection from the government soon. that is so sad and yet a reflection of our (society's) own apathy, ignorance and (like Govt.'s) indifference.
although the profiteering and other greedy bad apples too get the profession a bad rep(utation)
and thus the family (of the patients/ deceased) and others too turn their re on the staff or medics!
strangely, when things DO go right.. the credit straight goes to God.. and all people say is that... bhagwan/Allah / God ki kripa sei sab theek ho gaya par phalana daaktar / aspatal ka karcha pura __N__ laakh aaya..
the credit is straight away given to Almighty and the quip is.. ohh the hospital/ Dr. Narcizza was paid 5 lakh/ 10 lakh (whatever be the amount) and then it was all fixed.
so the common person reflects on the financial costs in terms of the care-givers or the facility and attributes most of the success to Almighty.
But to be honest, for most parts, i too personally feel that the educational, pharmaceutical and bio-engineering and medical field is rigged too much with the crooked, profiteering variety where ethics and values are often tossed aside. it is just like the religion 'business'.
*but after all this too, everyone has to concede that things do work out to the advantage of a good majority of commoners because of dedicated professionals in the fields!*

Bcz a 75 year old patient died in NRS Medicine ward and so nearly 200 people came in and attacked doctors there. N now when the doctors are on strike doing protest and asking for security, CM of bengal asked the doctors to withdraw the strike within four hours and warned them of action if the order is not followed. Wht is happening in this country?? What has happened to people?? Is this society so insensitive??..

In bds course we study MBBS subjects for 3yrs nd den in final year our main (dental)subjects......we deal with head,neck , oral part...... Maxillofacial surgery is a part of dentistry where emergency accident patients undergoing surgery by bds doctors for facial injuries, even during plastic surgery of face we have to be present, even oral cancer is treated by us ........ Bds is not just meant for cleaning tooth it is a vast field ...... With all due respect just wanted to highlight some points about the profession.....
