INGREDIENTS:
1 cup + 1/3 cup semolina ( 250 g )
1/2 cup powdered sugar ( 60 g )
1/3 cup refined oil or butter ( 80 ml )
1/2 cup coconut powder ( 50 g )
1 cup milk ( 250 ml )
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
sugar syrup:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 lemon slice
1 tsp rose water or kewra water or orange blossem

Today I made this n it was soooo yummy,Alhamdulillah.
Just a little note: I did a little mischief by reducing the amount of sugar(used 1/4 cup sugar syrup instead of 1/2 cup) as I thought it would be very sweet. But when I tested, I wondered no it needs some more sugar 😆. Then I quickly added some more sugar syrup n then it came out perfect, Alhamdulillah.
So do follow the recipe perfectly n dessert will be amazing, In sha Allah❤️
This turned out beautiful.....Maam may I request you to cover some diabetic dishes and few low calorie dishes as well.
In lockdown too much weight issue....and no diet food is turning to be tasty.
I m sure you will do some magic with the diet food

Before I made it in a pan with lid and very low flame..but aftr 20 minutes flame of..then flip it and flame on,keep it in 5minutes after serve..

Not just middle eadtern or egyptian desert WE make this desert in North Africa ( algeria ,moroco, Tunisie ),even in turky and greece
But it's originally Egyptian you should search more about its history and most of Middle Eastern food and dessert is originally Egyptian

I heard some where if we dont have oven.so we can use a bowl or kadai.in that we haveto take water place a stand ..on stand we can keep our dish..

No that will be steaming If you want to bake put salt in the kadai heat it keep a stand in it and it works like oven
@@asrakausar6706 once you add water, it will get steamed like idli, not baked like cake! Better to use salt or sand for the bottom of the pan & bake for 35+ minutes!
