Did u add the semolina? Or the regular flour because I didn’t find the semolina
@@sakinamomand176 I added the semolina.I think if u don't add the semolina it will not turned out good because semolina is the main ingredient in this recipe.

Hey,
I am new to your channel!
I usually use soya oil for cooking... Can I use that or can I substitute it with butter or Ghee? Or what would you suggest?
Natural yogurt is what you have used right?
Ghee could be a good substitute. Yes normal yogurt
@@HeavenBitesYT Thank you so much! I did it and wow it came so well and my kids loved it... 😍 your instructions are so clear that even a hesitant Baker like me got it done right!
Hello my friend
I am happy to subscribe to my channel and write your opinion💚
It looks so delicious ❤ thanks
My pleasure 😊
Hey I made this cake and it was soo soft any reason ??
Did you bake it enough time and roast it from upside too?
Can we make it in the microwave oven
You can, if it had broiler
This is my favourite, I love it
Thanks
Its difficult to get semolina here in my place, once i saw its very expe sive, can i use flour only and add more coconut sredded or maybe another gluten free flour and then can i use fresh coconut sredded, once again because dried sredded coconut also difficult to found it...thank you
Semolina gave the seedy texture, flour instead may end up with caky texture. You can try it and let me know. I think fresh shredded coconut should be ok
@@HeavenBitesYT ok i ll try
@@HeavenBitesYT hi i made this yesterday and its true with white flour its turn caky, but not too caky because i put more coconut sredded, and foilaa my family and my bestie love it so much, i put yoghurt also, and it make the taste balance the sweet, flaky and sournes so wonderfull taste..
Happy to hear everyone loved it 😀
which gluten free flour did you use?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks
Which sugar u use powder sugar or normal sugar
Normal sugar
Hi, can i replace the vegetable oil with melted butter?

Appreciate you, thanks
Thank u 🙂

Sugar syrup - 2 cup water + 1cup sugar, keep it in pan until it leaves bubbles and boils..
As per her recipe, it's actually 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water.
Thank you for the best recipe
8* 8 grease the pan.
One egg. Half cup sugar mix well
Now Half cup oil and yogurt mix well well
Add one cup semolina (Sujiee) mix well
Now add half cup sharded coconut
Now add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Mix well and put in greased pan.
Bake it 360F for 20-25 minutes
After that put sugar syrup on hot Barbousa
This is our popular option beside cake, we always make it in the middle east, it’s very delicious even when cold.

Also instead of oil I used melted butter instead.

Hi, I have made this recipe twice but why the sugar syrup not absorb even after an hour, and the second bake I put a lil bit of sugar syrup, and the cake texture is soft at the bottom, kinda moist... :(
You need at sugar syrup when it still warm to absorb it
