I've noticed a new ability to shorten the radius of my U-turns on the fly. I wouldn't recommend doing it with traffic behind you because the cages rightly expect a fluid turn...not slowing down, leaning more, and then choosing the inside lane over the middle or outside lane. It's cool to do it and get the, "How did you do that?" look from my riding buddies. Robert, over the three years of riding with my buddies, they are starting to verbalize my return on investment. My skill level leaped after attending your course last year, my second year of riding. It's liberating to take the Pigtail Bridge at Sturgis, fully loaded at 5 mph and max lean, or Lombard Street, San Fransisco, with the weekend crowd but no foot down. I wish the Harley community was more safety-conscious. Even new riders get caught up in the mystique, not seeing the world of possibilities that are only revealed through training. It is disappointing and scary to witness some of the situations we get into because of a lack of knowledge. OBTW, miss you brother. SKWID ET1(SS/SW/MTS) US Navy, Ret. Hey Rob I think you should try incorporating a footless stop into your training days. Feels like it kinda goes hand-in-hand with exercises 1-3, and could slot in as like exercise 3.5? I find them pretty useful out and about! And avoids an opportunity to drop the bike lol
Bumper to bumper stop and go traffic? You’ll be very happy you practiced this!!
You ain't never lied!
😂😂
This is a masterpiece 👏🏽. Let me get out and go practice. Thank you sir 🫶🏾🫡

Excellent information. I love this portion of riding. Going fast is fun, but doing this turns heads. Haha❤
You and me both!
I can't wait to practice with u
I practice coming to a complete stop without putting my foot down at every stop sign. Friction zone and rear brake. Fun.

A footless stop?
Basis for all slow speed
How would you do this on an automatic scooter?
