Actually bunnies eat carrots, mine love them, but it’s not a good idea to give them everyday, because they have too much sugar.
I usually give them different type of salad, and celery, sometimes cucumber, sweet pepper, fennel, parsley, a slice of apple or banana.
And obviously a lot of hay.

Just because they love them doesn't mean they should eat them. For example, does your baby love donuts? Well just give the baby a dozen donuts because the baby loves them. No, you should look after your baby and keep them healthy.
I'm a rabbit mom of 4. My male rabbit loves carrots.
My 3 younger rabbits, not as much.
But...I grow carrots in spring and summer and they all love carrot tops!

My rabbit gets bananas, greens, carrots, and of course some pellets every day. She is beautiful and healthy. She does not eat much carrot though. It seems that just a piece of a carrot is enough.

You are correct, bananas are a better treat for rabbits than carrots but remember bananas should be used as a treat, not as an everyday food. That goes to grass hay.

My rabbit eats leaves, different type of lettuce leaves not NOT iceberg lettuce. She also likes rose leaves, I saw on the television that rabbits like these.

Rabbits DO eat carrots the green leaves on top and the actual orange bit. Just don't feed too much of the actual carrot as it can be bad for their teeth, though good for biting into the carrot as they are hard and helps wear down their teeth, it's just the natural sugar in them that isn't good.
Any rabbits fav treat is banana, But only a small quarter sized portion. They have has leafy greens such as carrot stems, kale, baby spinach, parsley, romaine lettuce. And others, My Theo loves dandelions the flowers and leaves. but only small portions. Especially if the rabbit is like mine who refuses any type of dry hay or grass. He only wants his kibbles and fresh grasses. I have tried many diff kinds of bunny hay and he wont eat it. This then gives him runny poops at times and i know that is not good.
A diet consisting of mostly fresh products often lead to diarrhea so it's certainly not ideal for the bunny since, if given enough, the could potentially die. Perhapse visit a vet or consult someone with extended knowledge on bunnies. Small portions are a good thing but it's a fresh food based diet isn't ideal and at the very end not all that good for the bun

My two beautiful female rabbits hates carrots and pellets they won't touch it. But my girl absolutely love Cheerios (as a treat) romaine lettuce celery and of course Kaytee Timothy hay. If I bring home any other type hay and put it in your litter box, they will slammed the back of their feet onto the ground and turn the backs on me. And this is what my boyfriend cracks up. If i do not fix her litter box with their favorite hay. They will flip over their little box get on top of it and slam their back feet on it to get my attention. My boyfriend cracks up and say damn those b**** have attitude problems... 🤣

A lot of rabbits actually love carrots, it's just not their favorite as most of them prefer treats like bananas. I can say from personal experience that all 3 of our bunnies actually loved carrots.
@@christina9111 i think its just because of marketing. if they were famous for eating bananas they would be monkeys. monkeys already had this as their signature so marketing decided they need another thing to stand out, then come carrots. bugs bunny = marketing

Sorry for any misconceptions; wasn't trying to say that rabbits NEVER eat carrots, but rather I was trying to say, in contrast to (possible) other belief (like in cartoon shows), that they don't ONLY eat carrots. This is a lie Rabbits or Baby rabbits like Carrots people say they like green veggies. But carrots are rabbits most favourite Veggie/Food sometimes Rabbits don't also eat carrots everyday Just feed your rabbit Twice a day not always Because their Pee might get red and red Let your rabbit eat Something else too like KangKong,Pellets and something else but you can always feed them carrots Just 3-4 carrots a day so they will be healthy My Rabbits Are so healthy because of the carrots and the Veggies And also

liking carrots doesn't make them healthy for rabbits to eat. may as well hook them on some hard drugs too while your at it.
My rabbit refuses to eat store bought hay, but will eat grass off the ground, which worries me that she will eat something that will be bad for her. I also feed her pellets but don't want to cause her obesity or tooth decay. What can I do?

I was feeding my rabbit some of everything, then he went into g i stasis, that taught me a vital lesson. I will only feed him hay, occasional small table spoon of pellets and fresh dark greens like kale, dandelion etc.
Huge rule of thumb i had. When in doubt, look it up. I learned a lot that way.

I live in Pakistan and I bought my rabbits 6 months before the shopkeeper told me to feed them carrots and leafy greens I did as he said inspite of watching vids like these😭but my rabbit is happy and healthy.thanks to God😍✨she eats it everyday
Hello, thank you for tuning in! This is just based off of my research (but I do have some experience with rabbits) and you should always listen to your rabbit’s vet, but this video was just saying how carrots are a treat, and not a main meal. It’s okay to feed carrots to your rabbits sometimes!

It differs on their races and also even i am amazed how i see ids with bugs bunny carrots and also mibes love lettuce ....they live pretty much 5year plus ....and they love eating wires connected on electricity and leather shoes and everything they can chew but i noticed green bad grass is best since it has liquid , hay hasnt .... one also ate my flesh above my ankle :))) they have no prefference or need a diet.... just they decide their favorite....try putting water for my albino she will toss it and make her eyes more red xD ..... not all rabbits are same i have to say and these vids according diets ....they have a life span of 5 to 8 years they can eat humans if they desire ^___^ these vids must inform ob typing and country etc
