I have a 96 f150 and use the quarter windows every single day. Barely use my AC lol
It's funny that a lot of modern cars have the quarter window now, but they don't do anything.
I love this video. I mean no disrespect when I say it's entertaining to see someone unfamiliar with Broncos giving a genuine review of them. It's like if a Trekkie or Star Wars nerd who has never seen a football game gave 110% effort into creating the most genuine and heartfelt documentary about a specific football game.
That wasn’t a review. Everything he said about every aspect (except driving height) was negative. It was a very biased review. He sucks at vehicle reviews.
This bronco is an offroad legend! Can't stop it. Will go anywhere. It's an awesome truck. Id love to own one.
Yep. My 88 could hang with my buddies off-road. They all had highly modded Jeeps. My Bronco had homemade swaybar disconnects,a 2" lift, and 33" all terrains. Only limitation was it's size. I didn't mind some tree branch scratches, but wasn't into destroying it, so avoided some trails I knew we're too tight.
I want one so bad I almost had 1994 bronco with the 5.8 liter v8as my first car I loved it and was excited to drive it but sadly the transmission died shortly before I got to I didn’t think it was worth repairing at the time and I sold it. I still regret it because so far I’ve spent about the same amount of money on my 96 thunderbird as it would of cost me to get the tranny rebuilt on my bronco. Ford broncos a great suv and one of my favorites vehicles I hope I can get one again some point
@@indianadave8881 Yeah your right they are really big! To big for trailes and stuff in the woods.
@silverbird58 I wonder how the new one is?? Its prob decent i really dont like how it looks 100%. They put it on hold because of this wuflu bs.
@@EconomyElk I had a similar situation last year.I was going to pay a few hundred for a 90s Bronco, just had to get it fully driveable first, worked on it for a while, then it turned out to have really bad body mounts and floor.
God damn beautiful example of a 96 Bronco. Great work taking care of it.
Its not his you moron.
Its in san Diego California that is how its so clean and also well taken care of.
Yep way more appealing than the modern computerized plastic appliances. Pure coolness, would love to own one.
Thanks man i do my best to keep it looking good
They rusted to peices where I live.
I have a 1995 eddie bauer bronco this video made me happy
I had a '92 Eddie Bauer. Green with the tan lower paint. Loved that bronco.
also my uncle has a 1990 Bronco
I have a black '89
I've still got my 94 as well.
Can you make a video in i would love to see the eddie bauer edition
Who else is watching in 2020 when the new bronco was revealed?
MEEEE
Actually to throw something in the back, like a few bags of groceries, you stick the key in to have the window go down. Then you just live the window down on nice days. It's only a 3 step process for big items.
>no one
>Absolutely no one ever
>Doug: the 1996 ford bronco has 44 circles per wheel
The Bold Future >not even the person who designed the wheel...
You thought Doug was the type of guy to ignore 44 circles? No, it's Doug DeMuro, Mr. "Quirks and Features."
Is the spare also a 44 circle wheel? How many wheel circles for the whole bronco?
I think this car looks really cool. It's simple, it's functional and it's classy.
I have a 1990 Bronco. My wife and I both love it, especially in town.
A Bronco is basically a short wheelbase F150 pick-up with a fiberglass cap.The model number is U150.
#NoSUV (why do I feel so strongly about this topic?)
That’s true for so many vehicles man
Actually it's not a short wheelbase f150, it actually has a completely different frame than the f150, the wheelbase is 12" shorter than a swb f150
No shit sherlock.
Doug,
The kind of guy who finds circles in a wheel fascinating enough to make a video about them.
My dad had a '91 Eddie Bauer. I miss that truck... Epic.

There's a reason I consider the 4Runner the only true SUV nowadays. It still rides high. I have 2003 Jeep GC that I'm finally over due to the amount of work needed on it. I'll be going 4Runner, but the old Broncos were something else!
You forgot about folding the back seat. its folds down and then forward to open up a large space for so many activities.

@chadlerdoo to be fair the 4runner is old school today the bronco was old school in the 90's

I wonder at what point do we talk about this truck without mentioning OJ Simpson.
Most likely never.
When we're talking about Mexican drug dealers instead.

That'll happen around the same time parents can name their kids Adolf without people thinking of Hitler 🙄

the combination of quarter window with electric rear window are why i want one. modern cars are so air tight you cant open a window without severe buffeting

Doug- You missed the whole folding up the back seats! (Gotta admit I have been driving Broncos since I learned to drive in 1982. I learned in a 1978, drove a 1982 till the 90's and I have owned a 1989 Bronco since 2000, and with over a quarter million on it it's still a daily driver and cold weather beast who starts even at -45ºF.)

He makes a similar contradiction about the seat sliding forward and how easy it was to get into the back but then dings it at the end for being difficult to access the rear seat.
the bronco is LARGE I can assure you, it's not a terrible long car but it's WIDE.
But it has a surprisingly tight turning radius lol
My parents had a 92 when I was in high school. Loved that truck. Dad towed our 22 foot Bayliner cabin cruiser with it. Not exactly a light boat, and with that truck you could barely feel it back there. Just a beast. Wish it was still in the family...
Paul S my friend Dustin has a two-tone blue & champagne 1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer and it has been reliable to him
Somehow he managed to miss the biggest interior quirk... tumbling the rear bench seat forward.
Yes. I'm shocked he didn't do that.
And forgot to mention Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror.
Also the left foot toggle button for the high beams. Not sure if the 96 models had it but my 89 did
It's the best 😜
@@BornInTheCreek nope, the 92-96 at least had normal pull back on the stalk high beams.

Thought it did
It isn't meant to shine on pavement.
It will outshine most modern trucks on the trails though, is highly upgradeable, and pretty inexpensive to do so.
...and it will probably start every time, not have some ridiculous electronic gizmo disabling it, and does not require a visit to the stealership if something "quirky" happens.
Doug finally drove a Bronco!! Lazy, lumbering, simple, vague steering, crappy fuel economy.. exactly what 4X4s were in the 90s, and that's why we love them! I find driving my 95 F-150 to be a refreshing experience, as it is actually enjoyable to drive, is comfortable, and it gets many compliments (plus I don't lose it in the parking lot like my new truck).
