Hi great video. Can I ask what clearance is there between the top of the draw system and the top tie down points? I couldn’t see if you put them back in in your video.
Thank you. I was seriously hoping to add them back on so I could still utilise the top tie down points but the upper deck of the drawers clashed with the tie down point runner so I had to remove it all together. I have played around with adding lifting eyes to the existing holes in the tub which have proven to be pretty handy as a substitute
Hey I'm considering this one or the decked version. I do have a collapsible campershell but this one caught my eye. But would this work if I took the campershell off. In other words would the weather destroy this one without the shell?
To be perfectly honest the decked version has a better weather proofing than the ARB drawers as the upper shelf is made of ply and covered in marine carpet.
+Yule Owens hello buddy, if you were nervous about any water ingress I would go with a decked system. However if the campershell has a watertight seal over the tub the ARB system is a no brainer it’s really good and offers so much more than many other brands in terms of versatility. Hope that helps
Yeah you will need to keep them locked down properly but if they were tied into a tie down point that could possibly work but not entirely sure how you would achieve that though
I feel very proud that I passed the tools for all of half an hour 😂😂 and gained a cuppa tea for my hard work!! 😉
Tom Gadsden 😂😂😂 it was an incredible weight lifted I tell you! But more importantly good to have you stop by!
Good evening, Machina Designs. exceptionally delightful video. thanks. :)
Many thanks!
those drawers look great, I like the built in working surface! will be good to see them in the flesh so to speak someday.
They are a huge help to the mess i had in the back!
Hi great video. Can I ask out the sliding table on our right side drawer? Will it shake up & down when you drive on a bumpy road?
Thank you. No it’s a nice tight fit and stays perfectly quiet

Great video!! I'm thinking of getting some myself, I am struggling to find the weight of that set up though. Do you know what the total weight is?
Brosion thank you buddy really appreciate the feedback! Yeah they come in at about 60kg dry weight. Hope that helps 🤙🏻
Great installation
One question 🤔how much did you pay for the system
Thank you cost £1500 for the full system

Good video with great advice. Can i ask are you in the UK and if so which supplier did you use for the ARB drawer system. Cheers
I got my system through Douglass motors here in the UK. I can get you all the part numbers if you need for your vehicle if that helps?
@@MachinaDesigns Thanks mate. No need for part numbers yet. Just watching the cb install.
No worries buddy and thank you for the support it’s greatly appreciated
Do you have to drill the holes in tbe bed or would tie downs or even some mount them to some plywood work?

How heavy is this drawer system? Thanks!
The overall weight is around 50-60kg installed. But overall fantastic system that offers so much more in terms of future upgrades
@@MachinaDesigns thank you for your swift reply.
