I love how you did this video Jenny with showing all the problem areas first and then tackling them! I feel like sometimes my whole home can be a problem area😅 I'm prepping for a garage sale right now too and totally get that things can get quite messy and chaotic but once it's all done you feel so much lighter!

I have plenty of problem areas ! My bedroom, the laundry room, and my car! They’re always collecting random things. So I am setting items outside & people are picking them up. It’s a win win! Lol

Hi Jenny! I've missed you! Today's video was very inspiring. Don't we all have drop zones that become a problem. I want to share how much you have heled me. I have been severely depressed since the sudden death of my husband. My house is always a wreck, adding to my stress. I've had no motivation or energy to do much of anything. My doctor has tried to get me to take an additional med to help and I've refused. I finally gave in and a week and a half after starting it I woke up one morning and started cleaning, By the end of the 2nd day I had everything clean except my bedroom. I thought about how you use cleaning as your therapy. I get that now. Thank youl.

We are retired and loving life. We have a small town house, remodeled. I love decorating and have added some farmhouse looks like your home! I have Bipolar so I have anxiety at times. Love your calm videos. They motivate me too!
I have just decluttered my clothes closets, some drawers, linen closet and under sinks. Need to do more but I fell down concrete steps and porch, landed on asphalt. Two days ago. I am fine but sore and stiff.... my hubs will golf tomorrow so I will clean again then.

I am cooking a pot roast in crockpot. Later, making a squash casserole and brussel sprouts for dinner
I also have laundry going and already tidied whole town house.
Tomorrow I will go to a local cafe with a girlfriend and browsing the soap store on the Square and Smith and York shop too which sells pretty decor.

My desk turns into a drop zone, because I am a homeschooling mom. Son's room is another area where it is a constant battle to deal with the clutter. It's smart to keep what your son plays with easier access and rotate things in play areas. You made great progress on these. My son is with his grandparents for the weekend so I did a lot yesterday. Really enjoy your channel because it helps to motivate me.

we have problem areas! often our office, hallway,our bedroom and at the top of the stairs 🥵 sometimes I am good at keeping on top of things and other times I am not. 🙈🙈 I am so happy to see that others have the same 💚❤💚❤💚

Hey Jenny! When you showed problem area #1 I was motivated to get moving and clean part of my storage area in my basement. Since my Halloween stuff is out of the storage area for now I had been meaning to get in there and wipe down the shelving and sweep while it was open. You motivated me to do it TODAY! It feels great to have that part done. Now when all the Christmas stuff is out I'll tackle that part. Baby steps!! My linen closet is getting out of control so I'm glad you will be tackling yours soon so I'll want to follow your lead!! Love your channel!❤❤❤

Hi Jenny. My name is Patricia. I live in Massachusetts. I enjoy your videos very much. I don’t have a house, but I live in a apartment that is 1,000 square feet and I have a lot of storage space. I do need to go through all my closet areas and downsize. I keep things way too long that never get used. I love the music that you have in your videos ! You are doing a great job. I don’t have a family. I work full time and volunteer 2 times a week a homeless shelter. I am pretty busy, but I love things clean and organized. Sometimes I am too tired to get motivated. This is so me with the photo albums. Ughhh. I finally figured out away to keep them controlled. I got slim bookends and slipped them between a few albums…and repeat. It feels so much better to not have the albums all slip and slide when I need to take out an album. Thank you for this video. They are helping me so much!

My garage is a problem area, too. I store seasonal decor in there, along with my car. But various other things that don't have a permanent home seem to migrate there. Scary how they do that!!! I also tend to pile papers in one spot on my desk, instead of filing them. It would take less time to file right away instead of in bulk but..... oh, well. I love your videos! They're relaxing, informative, motivational and fun!! Thanks for sharing your life!

I did a mass declutter before school but now that I have teens, I decided to go back to school. 3 months in and my home is a disaster tho friends say it’s always clean 😂 I have good hiding places. Too many problem areas. Working on it before Christmas decorating 😩 thx for the motivation

Of course, I have problem areas in my home. My #1 is our garage, and my two hall closets. These past few weeks we have been decluttering our bedroom closets and the kitchen, so it has been a relief to get rid of stuff we don't need.
I feel we need to be better at putting things in their place, so things don't pile up.😏

Love your videos! My biggest problem area has been my workshop as we also put all our recycling and trash there. Trash is removed weekly, but recycling i rely on my husband for and he hates when I ask him. It was removed a month ago when I did a complete declutter and clean so we could walk through there as I painted the floor of our main entrance. So yesterday I pulled out the recycling again and tackled a bunch of recycling from the barn office, including an old TV. Hoping to do it next week, too. Being a month from my due date, I want to tackle all the areas. I just did the corner of my bedroom which became a drop zone, too! Getting it ready for baby.
That’s a big job! Especially while pregnant! ❤️But I remember how good it felt to get everything ready before baby comes! ☺️

Hi Jenny. We move back to my in-laws house and we just accumulated a lot of toys, kitchen things which we won't be able to fit or has duplicate in my in-laws home now. So I've been watching videos on how to let go of sentimental values to re-home them.☺️also your video did help with that.
Also we just experience hurricane and a lot of nearby places got into landslide and flood and thank God we're safe but thinking about those stuff that's been soaked/got dirty. I wanted to do an extreme cleaning/ declutter to free my soul. Thank you Jenny for the prayers ☺️🙏

I watched the video where u painted ur cabinets and the 1 year update video on your cabinets. I want to paint my cabinets so bad....i have the cedar wood walls and cabinets.....i have gotten used to them but i really want white walls and white cabinets becuz it will just look better and its so much easier to decorate! I love ur videos and i will b binge watching MORE!!!!

I did toy rotation with my kids, found to many toys just over stimulated them. Love your cleaning and declutter, so motivating. I raised 4 children.

I’m no expert on this, but I think as long as you protect them from moisture you should be okay. Maybe seal them in an airtight bag and lay them in a box? 🤔 I’ve wondered this myself since they are so delicate!

My garage is worse than yours. My husband lost his home and shop in a tornado shortly before we got married. He is obsessed with saving everything, which will be okay when he finally gets his shop rebuilt. Everything will go there. But the garage is the reason for my stuff being bottlenecked in the house.
I’m so sorry Terry! That’s so hard when it’s connected to a trauma from the past. 💔 I hope you are both able to make progress soon in that area. Sending hugs! ❤️
It's okay. The tornado was several years ago. My father in law lived with us, and my husband wanted to wait for a while because it wasn't at the top of the priority list. Then the virus hit. Steel is in short supply. After several years, we are now down to waiting on part of the steel to come in, which should be soon. The builders will be ready to go.
