Hey Robinson, after getting my Macbook to not block the connection in the beginning i never had any issues again ever. It doesn't really color the sound in any way and the latency from what i can tell is unnoticable. I have to add, that i am running the same OS and updates since i got the interface in the first place. So i don't have any insights on how it performs outside of my own system.
