Dude, I've been wanting to get into medium format for a while now but can't justify the cost and weight of a WLVF style camera. I love the Fuji X100V for the film style workflow. You've convinced me that the Texas Leica is for me. Love your photos, love your intent and love the channel.

Thanks so much! I have actually gotten so used to shooting rangefinder style with everything. Im hoping this encourages people that you can shoot portraits with a rangefinder and it doesnt have to always be a SLR.

sonnie what’s good sonnie? It usually varies, sometimes I actually try to challenge myself to one roll only but I will usually shoot around 2-4 if there’s multiple looks.

i use the rangefinder patch....i dont really mess with zone focusing on this camera

Hey man, how does this camera perform at night? Is it hard to focus?
It’s great. I would say the hardest time to focus is mid afternoon and shooting in the sun.

I shoot at half the box speed and the lab develops it as normal

Shots are a bit lackluster. I always felt a little restricted with that camera. Really hard to get subject separation with that lens. Pentax 67 is a much better choice IMO

Your overexposure of the film is killing the subtlety of the models beautiful skin tone. The video is correctly exposed. Rate the film at box speed and add some light by using a reflector or if it’s not raining a tiny amount of fill flash. Compare the two techniques.
