The naked man monument on Kalemegdan is around 100 years old, an you can only imagine reactions in that time! 😂 It is called the Victor, and it is facing acros the river cause back then that was the territory of Austro-Hungary empire, that were our great enemy that we eventualy beat in ww1. After the war the territory acros the Danube and whole od Vojvodina (our northern province) was included in Serbia.

Do not compare to east or west, this country is in a very unique position. It is a very multi ethnic mixture,meaning,burgers are different, drinks are different, etc. Just be open and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Watch out for Serbian fever,some say they are most beautiful people in east europe.
