Man I've been going on allover the web to understand how the o2 sensor works and how to know if i need to change them and I swear this is the most simple and very effective explanation I've ever seen. Right to the point! Thanks a lot !

I jave a cheap $100 scan tool innova from advanced autoparts...will it refresh fast enough to correctly read this? Because if the answer is yes i should see those steep sharp changes like the one on the left on your scan tool then i need to replace my o2 sensors too

thanks for video. i have only 1 upstream sensor on my van. help me diagnose please. the following info. Thanks for responses. o2 #1 sensor reads between .1Volts and 7.5Volt at idle. However the amplitude Volt spikes come about every 9 seconds and between the 9 second interval it continues reads between .4-.7Volts up and down. does the 9 second mean o2 sensor is responding to slowly?
At [1500 rpm spikes of 02 sensor #1 is between .1 and .8 with amplitude spikes every 1/2 second or close to that.
