I'm 2 years late to the party 😶 and this comment will probably have been made a billion times, but Em called the NFL directly and told them that he couldn't come if 50 didn't. He gave up his second song to give him a spot. I've never seen a more humble man. And if you haven't seen it, you can look that interview up on YT. I can't remember who gave it but you can probably just look up him wanting 50 at the SB.

I've been seeing tweets from people at the superbowl, the crowd was insane. They turn down the crowd volume during performances especially in huge stadiums, this has been one of the most anticipated halftime shows ever with unmatched star power so the crowd was definitely insane

Safe to say this was the greatest half-time show ever.
I knew someone would stake that claim.
And that is ok. What impressed me was that perhaps with the exception of Ms. MJ Blige- (who should have been on that stage years ago in my humble opinion), not one of those other cats should have been there. The odds were stacked against them by virtue of this rap game in the US of America. So I am so glad that they did it!!
Now the argument on if this was the greatest SB 1/2 time show is of course relative.
Check out social media: opinions on if this show out did the one back in 2007- ( Prince's 1/2 time stunner down in Miami ) is raging. Which in my opinion needs to be left alone because it implies it took 6 of these performers to match what the Purple One did all by himself.
Irregardless the one 2 nights ago was stupendous in it's own right.

Old-school Hip-hop, gfunk, gangsta rap forever 🔥 it's amazing to see the Hip-hop goats in one stage. Idk why people compare this concert with others. Most of the concerts are pop and this is HIP-HOP completely a different one; it's mostly to vibe and enjoy, not like intense dancing, and performance. The sad thing is each artist couldn't show their full potential as 6 artists should perform within 15mins and that's Unfair. Everyone on the stage has numerous hits. And, it would've been better...
• if they extended the show
• chose one to three artists (I'd choose Dre, Em, and Snoop as they have more collabs) IF IT'S ONLY FOR 15 MINUTES
• I personally feel like this show could've been conducted during night, it would've been more colorful and a better stage, with effects instead of a map.
Each one in the stage is an icon. They have many hits on their own. Understand that it's very difficult to plan and make 6 artists to entertain within 15 minutes. I bet no other 6 individual artists could've done better than these OG's. Dre's 56 and still doing that sh*t. Y'all must give props to Dre.

Eminems performance was too short. If they squeezed in till I collapse would've been perfect. I mean they took it to that Era of songs so why not? They were promoting Rap God for the past couple months and just recently not afraid in the Superbowl Halftime Preview Commercials so to just perform the crutch song lose yourself was a disappointment. Blige was the highlight for me. The singing , beautiful face , legs and Thighs. My goodness she looks good especially for her age.
