Hello again, Stewart. I created and launched my business website several days ago, following along with your video. Everything was absolutely beautiful and I had started sharing the link to my site with friends, family, and church family. Last night, I spent another three hours adding content to my sub-pages, and again, everything looked perfect to me on the published site. However, for some reason, when I looked at the site from my smartphone about an hour later, all of my fonts looked different. I figured that maybe something just hadn't updated and that it would resolve itself. Tonight, I looked at my website again and the fonts still looked plain. When I opened up the Google Sites editor, all the fonts that I had used when I created the website looked the way they were supposed to, but again, the live website had plain looking fonts. I have spent days creating my website, working on it for hours after having worked full days on my job, and consequently, getting only about four hours of sleep each night. Right now, I am so discouraged and frustrated with the site that I don't even have the heart to look at it anymore. You are an expert at what you do, and I can't tell you just how much I appreciate your videos. I am hoping that you can tell me what has gone wrong with my website and how I can fix it. I literally feel sick to my stomach because of the frustration and disappointment. Thank you for taking the time to read my long comment.

I made one change to the font in the footer, and the next thing I knew, everything was back to normal! Prayer works, especially when just add a measure of faith!😁 All I have left to do now is write the Privacy Statement, Terms and Conditions, create the contact form, and add a link so people can purchase my book online.

No you do not need. You can buy a custom domain if you like but it's not vital.

What I suggest you do is try change the theme and see if that changes the font on your devices.

Are you sure? Click on the top left hand corner when you are on your site. That should take you back to all your sites and templates.
