Date cake with hazelnuts and chocolate topping! No eggs, no dairy

    A great, soft and healthy cake, sweetened only with the sweetness of dates and honey.
    It is almost vegan, only the honey can be swapped with agave or maple syrup.
    The ingredients I used:
    350 ml soy milk
    50g of coconut oil
    50 g of sunflower oil
    50 g of honey
    120g of whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 teaspoon of baking soda
    100g of hazelnuts - 50-60g for the mixture and the others for sprinkling
    40-50 g of any kind of hazelnut cream or chocolate spread.
    Method:
    Soak the dates in the hot milk for 1 hour to soften.
    Once they are done, shield the mixture and transfer to a large bowl.
    In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
    Understand well.
    Add the dry ingredients to the dates and mix.
    Add the chopped hazelnuts and stir
    Transfer the mixture to a tray or baking dish,
    Bake at 180 degrees for about 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean or with a few crumbs!
    For the topping, I used cocoa hazelnut cream or chocolate spread (nutella) and finely chopped hazelnuts
