    Do I need an epoxy primer under my polyester primer or can I spray the polyester directly over sanded area? There are small areas with exposed bare metal but not much. I have some oil based primer could I spray that over the polyester primer after?

    What putty do you use if it's acrylic lacquer and do you have to remove dry guide coat out of pin holes and of low spots before reapplying filler or primer

    I was priming with epoxy primer then the bike fell. Can i apply bondo over the scratches from the fall? Or do i sand those areas then primer over them?

    • @CarAddictGarage
      @CarAddictGarage  5 лет назад

      I would sand the area just enough to rough it up for the filler to adhere. If it's just a scratch, no dent, you can feather edge the scratches and reapply epoxy. Body filler can be applied over epoxy as long as it is sanded before applying. I hope this helps.

    hi is there a spray type of glazing putty?
    iv heard of this one contour polyester glazing putty is that good before surface primer for mini dot holes

    • @CarAddictGarage
      @CarAddictGarage  7 лет назад +1

      Eastwood's contour glazing putty works well for filling pin holes. It's a spread type of putty. They do make a Contour polyester primer surfacer. Its a high build primer surfacer, but I would not trust that to fill all the pin holes. I would use the spreadable putty first, then use primer surfacer. Thanks for watching.
