the fact the concept has so much potential. personally i think sm should release a 6 episode series to improve the storyline and show aespa acting and just filling the gaps so when the music video for their next comeback comes out it’s more obvious what the storyline is, because i feel like sm is just using the storyline for an excuse to write lousy lyrics and make cool artistic visuals and they don’t care for the actual story.

The whole "ae" concept has turned out to be such an outstanding idea...... not because it's revolutionary or groundbreaking, but because it provides a huge goldmine of comedy. Jaejae showing up with that cardboard cut-out looking over her shoulder just about killed me.
When they annouced the group and the idea.... people hated it for some reason because their reason was that it was "ripping off KDA" But it's bound to happen and the concept/idea is different than KDA. It happened before like Gorillaz or Hatsune Miku, so technically everyone is "ripping" them for the AI idea.
Its just like with NCT when they first debut.

yeah, i was worried from the start that this concept was gonna be super underwhelming and half assed cause that´s what SM did with EXO, and i haven´t been paying close attention, but overall it seems like i was kinda right. i also dislike the æs cause they were made skinnier and lighter skinned than the members themselves, who already set an unrealistic beauty standard for regular women, and i´m even more worried about the whole thing because Lee Sooman has talked about making virtual versions of idols do fanservice
