this is my first time seeing her in an interview as well and i just wanted to point something out. idk if it’s just me, but the way she carries herself reminds me so much of cate blanchett. the class, the elegance and eloquence they speak with. especially at this level, is something that you don’t see that often, and, personally, i think the only other person that i can think of that is like that is cate. is it just me?

That was me at 12:09 screaming “En Español En Español”. Getting an “Ese wey” by Diego at 12:10 & getting somewhat of a notice from him twice was literally the peak of my life. I was screaming in Spanish the entire time because as a Mexican, seeing Diego up there brought me so much joy. It means so much to me and I’m sure it does to every Hispanic and Latino person to see a Latino Actor play a character in the biggest Pop Culture Franchise. A day I’ll never forget, Gracias Diego❤️

So glad to see Genevieve reprises her role as Mon Mothma! I always like how her character (and Jimmy Smits' Bail Organa) shows that the Rebellion was not only about open war, but also about diplomacy and political negotiations.
She and Bail have always been my favorite characters. I always felt that they are underrated as well. Hopefully, Bail and Breha will be here as well. They are very important to the Rebellion as well.
This is one of the things you notice about online/social media versus people in real life. Online Star Wars fans (not all, of course) can be...horrible. In person? Look at them, a collection of the happiest, bubbliest, most exuberant people.

Diego Luna made Cassian Andor. The best of the BEST of Star Wars! Andor can stand alone as a Masterpiece by itself. Just awesome. And Genevieve O’Reilly has done superb job portraying Mon Mothma. Just the fact that she has done it in span of 3 different decades is impressive enough….but she manages to deliver much, much more! Brava!

Andor is one of the best examples in modern entertainment when representation works flawlessly, it is not odd, it is not in your face or forced, it just works and is very natural. This show is an important lesson for all the woke CEOs, directors and producers ( a lesson they will never heed or grasp). Amazing cast and acting, and so well produced, cant wait for season 2.

So excited for these series! Been waiting for more Cassian Andor content since the first time I watched Rogue One. The story and the characters were incredible! Also... Let Diego touch Jabba.
I haven’t been too interested in the show until now. It seems like these two actors are really really just amazing casting for their characters. Almost complete opposite characters, a young kid that’s had to rough it out and be in the weeds of fighting, and a more regal, politically struggling big picture figure that goes from being stuck in the Senate to the Rebellion. Diego’s personality is perfect for his character, and he is very good with the audience. Very good front face. This actress as soon as she waved to the crowd here it’s like she is the perfect casting for Mon Mothma. Obviously these are returning roles, but what fantastic choices. I am very intrigued to see Mon Mothma’s character fleshed out!!!
First the clone wars was made cause of episode 4's throw away line, now this series is happening for the same reason... I really hope they make more of these ♡
Who else wants to see Sabine Wren's art, finally, represented in live action? Possibly Andor??? She IS the one who created the Starbird/Rising Phoenix/Rebel symbol. Which, spread throughout the Galaxy, as a beacon of HOPE. A symbol, which became a voice of inspiration for the people... to rise up against the Empire. The start of the Rebellion.
We did see it in Rouge One, a few of the X-Wing pilots have Sabine's version of the Starbird on their helmets, but i would love to see a big wall sized one in the show

I hope the cameos/references are as subtle as this, which they have done so well in R1, "General Syndulla mention", "Ghost in the space battle", "Chopper and Artoo and Threepio". Then of course Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, Vader, Tarkin, and Princess Leia. These cameos and references enhance the story and actually make sense. Unlike in TBOBF. . . So I have high hopes for Andor.
I will always remember Mon Mothma as the one giving orders to Kyle Katarn and Jan in Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast. I would really love to see more of Kyle’s story come to life. Kyle Katarn is and always will be one of my favorite jedi masters.
The first Star Wars (Episode IV) came out when I was 12 and since then like many I'm sure are, I was hooked. What I would give to be in the next Star Wars Celebration!
Diego looks exactly the same as in "Rogue One". I have said it to friends after we've watched the movie and I'll say it again: He has done a very good job!!! Surprise? the developed characters better in one movie than they did when any character in 3 sequel movies. Now we get to see 12 episodes to back up that development of one of the characters? Of course it will be great. If only we could get Chirrut a show!

I haven’t been too interested in the show until now. It seems like these two actors are really really just amazing casting for their characters. Almost complete opposite characters, a young kid that’s had to rough it out and be in the weeds of fighting, and a more regal, politically struggling big picture figure that goes from being stuck in the Senate to the Rebellion.
Diego’s personality is perfect for his character, and he is very good with the audience. Very good front face. This actress as soon as she waved to the crowd here it’s like she is the perfect casting for Mon Mothma. Obviously these are returning roles, but what fantastic choices. I am very intrigued to see Mon Mothma’s character fleshed out!!!
First the clone wars was made cause of episode 4's throw away line, now this series is happening for the same reason... I really hope they make more of these ♡

A symbol, which became a voice of inspiration for the people... to rise up against the Empire.

We did see it in Rouge One, a few of the X-Wing pilots have Sabine's version of the Starbird on their helmets, but i would love to see a big wall sized one in the show
@@williamcrisp6032 Yes, exactly! I want to see people (or at least SOMEONE) walking down a street/alley and stumble across one of her exquisite signature wall tags. THEN, I want to see that person thoughtfully process it as art and it's meaning.. and find it's rebellious message of Hope.

I hope the cameos/references are as subtle as this, which they have done so well in R1, "General Syndulla mention", "Ghost in the space battle", "Chopper and Artoo and Threepio". Then of course Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, Vader, Tarkin, and Princess Leia. These cameos and references enhance the story and actually make sense. Unlike in TBOBF. . . So I have high hopes for Andor.

I will always remember Mon Mothma as the one giving orders to Kyle Katarn and Jan in Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast. I would really love to see more of Kyle’s story come to life. Kyle Katarn is and always will be one of my favorite jedi masters.

The first Star Wars (Episode IV) came out when I was 12 and since then like many I'm sure are, I was hooked. What I would give to be in the next Star Wars Celebration!
Diego looks exactly the same as in "Rogue One". I have said it to friends after we've watched the movie and I'll say it again: He has done a very good job!!! He fits perfectly into the Star Wars family. I just love Diego and Cassian! Welcome back to ... A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Can't wait for "Andor".
