@rigidhammer7376 there's a button that is by default on single player. Click that, and switch it to multiplayer. Now you can choose to host or join a multiplayer game!
I started in 2024 and just got my first character to 100 and having a blast some of the vendor farming has been annoying as hell but the game is overall fantastic

I'd like to point out a super secret pro gamer tip for bloom farming: if you're friendly with Barrowholm, you can take the bounty for Swillius which is a hero Ugdenbog golem that spawns in the Undergrowth. If you hold on to the bounty, you have an additional guaranteed hero spawn every time you do the dungeon.
As somebody who farmed the Krieg Set 4 times, look at the green MI items that these bosses drop. One could say that they are even better than the Krieg Set itself for some builds. Also don't forget to grab Theodin's sceptre while you are in that area ;)

Little piece of perspective on the loot filter: I always untick the Resistances option, because most items have resistances anyway, and with the option ticked you end up not filtering much if anything. Those filter options are more for "I don't want to miss an item that has this kind of stat", and honestly, if all an item has is resistances, I don't care for it, whereas items that have OA/DA or speed or crit dmg or specific dmg types, those I care about, whether they have resists or not.
Awesome video. Thanks for making it. I'm 500 hours into the game and wasn't sure I'd learn much, but I did. Even though I have 95%+ finished the game and DLCs on Veteran difficulty, I didn't remember that there are special blacksmiths/vendors where you can gamble for loot. The trick of resetting the rogue-like dungeon vendors without having to use another key is very useful. The ideal farming routes were also very good. I just started trying SR and CR, and you made it clearer how they work for farming. Cheers!

6:24 Yup I just found this out yesterday when I tried to turn the "hide all items" toggle on. I wanted to do it for aesthetic reasons since I thought it would be fun to record some gameplay without a huge bunch of loot text popping up. It hides everything, almost everything! Except quest items. An apparently aether crystals and other rare crafting materials are considering quest items in the game.

Their is another farming route for aether crystals in the Reanimator's liar near Devil Crossing. You can combine this route with Kreig's route to maximize crystals during one session.
49:33 I really could've done with hearing this when I farmed the set! I stayed up until something like 4 in the morning trying to get the last piece, because I'd only been killing 3 of them!
I've recently started learning about Shattered Realm, and I've been farming it for a week now. I've completed Ultimate SR 60-61, to gain access to all pieces of the SR set, then did some research for the best shards to farm. Turns out, farming on Elite is better and faster. I just did 3 runs on Elite SR 75-76. 34 legendaries in 25min! (not counting the legendary blueprints) Amazing!
Highly recommend totem farming Asterkarn Valley, teleport in, all 3 totem are near the riftgate, go the totem, leave the game and repeat! also a boss on the totems to kill sometimes

For Aether crystals I usually go burial hill rift head northwest and include the hill itself. minimum of 4 outside and 4 inside very fast very easy then I go to wardens lab.
Something you didn't mention is that you might be level-limited when it comes to farming some areas. For example I did the Warden Krieg aether crystal run with a level 90 character and did not get a single aether crystal (of any size). I then ran it again with a level 42 character and got crystals from every cluster I destroyed. My level 90 does get crystals in the more challenging areas, like near Homestead. As a side note, since I started using GD Item Assistant I keep all blue and better items whether they are good for my current character or not (since other builds will benefit from them) and I sell all the junk greens to keep my iron reserves up.
That is true, normal and elite difficulty are level limited. Ultimate is not. A level 90 character should not be played on normal or elite anymore, it belongs into ultimate.

I just got myself to start HC again.(i RIPd on SR 65 with my cyclone archon and succumbed to SC for a while but it got extremely boring on SC) Got all the speedleveling setup without lokarr tho. Thats the video I needed, the farm routes etc when i finally get my ritualist to 94. Im starting with ghol (got the set and some pet items) then mby dark one RE. I dont rly know any more ritualist builds. I dont have any morgoneth set items.

Thanks for your video. It's very complete and useful! @RektbyProtoss. The only issue I had was with my character at level 86 (elite) not be able to receive any Eye of Manticore or Seals Of Binding. :-( After reads some thread forums about this kind of problems. It seems if your character level is too high versus the game difficulty/monster level it happens. I made a new character a normal difficulty and I was able to farms these very needed items. Edit: I read your prievious answer. I cannot change to ultimate difficulty until I done the quests in elite first.
Important note for myself: When pushing SR, always cash out at 5, 20, 35, 65, 80 shards - no matter what! And run shard 35 on normal to get skill and attribute points quickly (not further on this difficulty) Btw. Amazing video

I'm a beginner that levelled a character to lvl 100 ultimate using the blackwater cocktail build, now i'm trying to transition to devastation pyran's set build, but i don't know how to find the set neither the warpfire, atm i just have the headpiece :(
If you found the blueprint for the headpiece you can craft three more and tramsmute them into other parts of the same set at the inventor. Warpfire is just a random drop that you can farm best in the shattered realm at shards 50+ or via monster totems. SR 75-76 has the best loot per minute.

i'm wondering about the drop rates on certain mats - blood of chton in particular. i just ran 1,5 hours in specific chton areas, killed lots of heroes/several bosses, and got just ONE blood :o did the drop rate receive any nerfs? (the one blood i received was from a nemesis boss :D )

All tier1/tier 2 relics can be bought either from faction quartermasters or from Hyram in steelcap district. You can reset Hyram by e.g. closing/reopening the game.

Concerning MIs: I just got my first char to 94, and i honestly used the same MI-weapon in 3 different lvl-tiers for the whole time. None of the legendary weapons came close to the massive dps bonus from MI. Is that just normal? Leg weapons seem kind of useless to me. Maybe with set bonuses ?!
It depends a lot on the build, for some MIs are better than Legendaries while leveling, for some MIs are worse than Legendaries while leveling, for some MIs are better for leveling AND for endgame.
Do you know by any chance where the mythical beastcallers set would drop for my conjurer? Been farming totems (also celestials) for days but havent found any piece.
hmmm, there really aren't many items supporting physical grenado or mortar trap, but you could always try to put together a build using greens or maybe some parts of the octavius set/targo set and the decree of the circle of five dagger. Then you don't even need the beronath sword.
Whats the endgame like on grimdawn? I seems alot like d3 titan quest and poe. How would you explain it to a new player that's wants end game like d3 or poe? Is this the game for me and my bro to get into? We are playing d2r rn but looking for something that has some more meat to it. Good pvp? If any?

Can anybody tell me when i should side with Barrowholm , apparently you can do different decisions depending on difficulty. Does their reputation reduce if i side with them in normal but hunt them in Elite/Ultimate or is it completely separate? The augments I think are soulbound so I can't just buy them up with 1 char and transfer them.
If you side with them on normal but then go hostile with them on elite, all of your reputation with them will be set to 0 and they are now a hostile faction. If you want to use their augments on that character either never go hostile or only go hostile in ultimate after buying enough of their augments on elite. You won't be able to buy them anymore later on that char.

I had a look at their things and people claimed that Ravagers Eye is a must for pet builds but honestly i think Cult of Dreeg and Bysmiel has a better combo so I decided to eradicate them all. I think I have an alt that is friendly with them. Wonder what would happen with the progression (Blueprints and such if i were to delete that char)
I just turned 100 level and checked how long it took me ... 100 hours ... yea I'm not impressed so far with the game I can't lie. If leveling up costed me 100 hours I am guessing gathering my build will cost me at least 5 times more. Correct me if I am wrong what do I need an year to dress up?
It all depends on how efficient you are doing things in this game and how much you are willing to learn about the game. I level characters from 1 to 94 in 5 to 6 hours and have pretty much all the items in the game, which you don't need to if you just wanna beat all the content. You can already put together a very strong build with only easy to target farm loot & faction gear and then use that char to farm the other good random drop gear.

Duh. Every loot arpg is easy on the lowest difficulty. Build variety in GD is far superior to D3 and doesn't get hit with massive skill nerfs every 3 months because a streamer facetanked an endgame boss in PoE.
Guide would be 10/10 without the constant mumbleing of words and the tangeants, where you mention some mob/item in passing without a text on screen and without being clear to understand so the viewer has no clue wtf you're talking about.
Sorry for the 9/10 experience... In all seriousness though, I apprechiate the critique and you can feel free to ask me anything that wasn't clear to you either here in the comments or on my discord.

Yea level 86 is indeed too high for normal, you need to play through act 4 (defeat loghorrean) elite to enter ultimate.

There's a "pick up" button you can assign to any key in the "keybinding" menu.

The droprates are unchanged afaik, maybe you were just really unlucky :D

hmmm, there really aren't many items supporting physical grenado or mortar trap, but you could always try to put together a build using greens or maybe some parts of the octavius set/targo set and the decree of the circle of five dagger. Then you don't even need the beronath sword.

I know I'm super late but as far as I know, if you're ten levels or higher than the mobs you're fighting they won't drop rare mats
Whats the endgame like on grimdawn? I seems alot like d3 titan quest and poe. How would you explain it to a new player that's wants end game like d3 or poe? Can anybody tell me when i should side with Barrowholm , apparently you can do different decisions depending on difficulty. Does their reputation reduce if i side with them in normal but hunt them in Elite/Ultimate or is it completely separate? The augments I think are soulbound so I can't just buy them up with 1 char and transfer them.
If you side with them on normal but then go hostile with them on elite, all of your reputation with them will be set to 0 and they are now a hostile faction.
If you want to use their augments on that character either never go hostile or only go hostile in ultimate after buying enough of their augments on elite. You won't be able to buy them anymore later on that char.

I had a look at their things and people claimed that Ravagers Eye is a must for pet builds but honestly i think Cult of Dreeg and Bysmiel has a better combo so I decided to eradicate them all. I think I have an alt that is friendly with them. Wonder what would happen with the progression (Blueprints and such if i were to delete that char)

You can upload your save on grimtool and check there.

It's a random drop, so anywhere on ultimate. It can also drop on elite in areas where enemies scale high enough with levels.

Does Grim Tools run crappy on Chrome for anyone else?
I just turned 100 level and checked how long it took me ... 100 hours ... yea I'm not impressed so far with the game I can't lie. If leveling up costed me 100 hours I am guessing gathering my build will cost me at least 5 times more. Correct me if I am wrong what do I need an year to dress up?
It all depends on how efficient you are doing things in this game and how much you are willing to learn about the game.
I level characters from 1 to 94 in 5 to 6 hours and have pretty much all the items in the game, which you don't need to if you just wanna beat all the content. You can already put together a very strong build with only easy to target farm loot & faction gear and then use that char to farm the other good random drop gear.

Duh. Every loot arpg is easy on the lowest difficulty. Build variety in GD is far superior to D3 and doesn't get hit with massive skill nerfs every 3 months because a streamer facetanked an endgame boss in PoE.
