The download link has a mess with LoZ weapons which half don't even hurt enemies, enemies that glitch in a wall and never return such as the Vampire Bat. Where is the download link to the game YOU are playing in the video because the one you have in the link is an abortion and not even the same game at all, nor even weapons....

(Although I would've wanted a Ninja Gaiden 2/Zelda 2/Castlevania 3 Crossover myself.) It's stuff like this that makes me hate not being born to a rich family. Because I have to wait however long, working & saving money all the while, before I can afford College courses on Video Game design to make fan games I think the World needs!

The part that was so contrasting for me was 4:46, one point where he's in a corner. You'd typically break a couple blocks and eat a wall turkey or something, but when the normal hero is two blocks high, and this runt neatly fits in one square... this is more ridiculous than epic.

After watching for a few minutes, the thought that came to mind is that this game looks considerably easier than Castlevania because many things that will kill you in the original (like falling or jumping in the direction of the stairs leading to another screen instead of walking down the stairs) don't even damage you here. It looks rather fun and I might give it a try.

Hahaha, I like how the music first conformed to the NES sound chip...until the end of the first stage, and then the game was like, "fack that!" Now we are getting more sophisticated sound, and synthesizers and sh*t. This is great!

Zelda II was a side scroller so they should have used that Link instead. The Master Sword has the power to repel evil. Castlevania would be a walk in the park for Link.

I was met with resounding ridicule for even asking the question lol. I still believe that he can't and after seeing this was hoping you could prove me wrong and them right. Must admit, out of all the different types of weapons Link has ever used over the years (swords, bombs, bow and arrows, etc) i dont believe ive ever heard of him using a whip type weapon before. How cool would it be if vampires, werewolves, and other spooky creatures of the night were somehow incorporated as part of Hyrule's world, like the Zoras and Goron?
I can imagine a legend of Zelda game where the entire game takes place in a dark scary castle and link has to defeat ganon within it. Or a true cross over where Link has to defeat Dracula and hunt the night.

Link from the Legend Of Zelda and Alucard from Castlevania have a few striking similarities, both are blonde androgynous swordsmen who can transform into wolves and have fought god like villains and have been one of the few consistencies throughout most of history in their own respective canons.
This is very interesting ,but given the sprite size Zelda one Link was a poor choice ,,,if the do a revision to this hack hopefully they will use the Zelda 2 Link ,, he's a better hight match to Simon Belmont , you'll agree just take some screenshots and compare ,,whoever made this hack thankyou very much but it does need that element ,,I wish some ballsy hacker would make a playable Link in the GENESIS game GoldenAxe 2 ,they could simply alter the sprites of a Streets of Rage character then insert them into GoldenAxe 2 ,and sega's GoldenAxe 2 is a time period better-Fit for Link anyway , Castlevania is too close to industrial revolution age ,,,👍
