Amtrak oh Amtrak, how I love to ride in Business Class with a senior discount and a voucher for the Bistro car for lunch. How I love to fly @ 80mph around tight curves. carrying my clam chowder lunch to my seat, and then a little nap and then to the Bistro for Starbucks coffee. How serene is the car, up front behind the engine, where the horn sounds so clear at every crossing.. No roaming groups of kids and teenagers allowed in Business Class. Free wifi At night the ceiling of the Bistro is lit by twinkle lights, creating a map of our route.. Ah, the comfort of the wide. soft leather seats, with plenty of leg room.

A wide world of trains, your doing a great job filming a these fantastic locomotives my friend keep up the good work, i love a the different engine item # they have, EMD's have sd40, sd40-2's, sd40-3's, sd50's, sd60i, sd60e, sd70mac, sd70ace's too! the es44ac's dc's, and tier4 gevos are nice too.

I was in Rochester over Christmas, visiting extended family. I remember seeing a few snowflakes while we were driving westbound on I-90 on Christmas Eve. I don't think we went over any railroad crossings. Driving home on Christmas Night, heading back to New Jersey, going south on 81, the thermometer on the dashboard said the surface temperature was 34 degrees, and there was freezing fog blowing across the road - if the temperature had dropped by a fraction of a degree, that freezing fog would have turned into black ice. But after we got into Pennsylvania the weather got a little better, and despite the GPS device giving us wrong directions (getting us lost in Wilkes-Barre) we got home all right.

Nice catch. 1:19:18 Probably the fastest I've ever seen on the Northeastern. 1:32:00 The 16 Axel Flat car arrives at Dunkirk, but has the big turbine looking thing on it. 1:42:48, Dash 9 with bizarre ditch lights. 1:46:43 Doesn't that sound like a dash 9, but it has a GE bell. 2:10:27 The golden trains are coming to their home in their golden state. 2:14:31 WAIT FOR MEEEEEE!!! 2:25:07 I'm going to get out of here because I am the runaway. 2:29:45 Lease me, I am great for yard work. 2:42:28-2:42:31 It's just magic that it turns off its lights behind a bridge fence. 2:48:26 I'm coming, Chicago, it's true, we will deliver your heritage units! 2:56:30 EMD's Favorite video, all 7 engines are EMD.

i love these trains. two questions: 1. what do they call the long cars in this video that are connected to each other, with 3 or 5 cars in length? 2. Does anyone know where I can get videos about diesel fuel specs and pistons that can burn the new fuels without being damaged?
If you give a time stamp we can probably identify it for you. Well cars ( you'll see them on intermodals, carrying boxes ) usually come in 1, 3 or 5 set configurations. 3 and 5 sets share trucks between the interior members of the set. I saw a number of trains with bulkhead flatcars going in groupings, but they usually have their own trucks. Again, a time stamp would help to identify things.
