If you have a common sense and a light hand it’s fine, it was my starter and I didn’t get hurt but I did drop it once which will happen eventually. Just don’t slam on the brakes to quickly or drop the clutch with the gas pinned.

Tyre pressure about 15 to 20 psi put some sliders bare minimum it will protect a little bit or just invest in a full cage your fear is holding you back which is understandable I was like that as well at the start I did not care about my self I was more worried about my bike 😂

Noob question here. I got my first 600 mile service done at the dealership and I SWEAR my bike is SLOWER now. I start to see the yellow light flashing high in the revs in 6th gear going like 140MPH! I thought this bike was supposed to do 165/170mph but mine can only get to about 150mph... I swore the bike was faster and i pushed it to 160+ RIGHT before my first service. I tried checking the oil after the service and although i was on a hill when i put the bike on paddock stands, it felt like they overfilled the oil by like 1/3rd of a quart. I drained a little bit out and have now kept running the bike but it's still slower :/ is it possible they overfilled and clogged my oil filter or airbox? Help!
service it yourself, don't trust something you love in a dealerships hands. I changed my oil out at 1.2k Miles and it still runs like it did brand new (3.5k miles now). It came with 2 free services a year for 2 years but I still haven't taken it to them. Was 65$ to change oil and upgrade to a nicer oil filter myself which really isn't bad.

Electronic speedlimiter, early concours 14 was limited to 186 mph, later versions limited to 155 mph. A flash can turn off the limiter. The concours can do 180 plus without the side cases in the 170s with side cases.
Would not recommend this bike for stunting lol that’s my opinion. The scrape bar on these is more like a 1 o clock bar and it’s got hella power for a beginner

difference is geometric, not arithmetic. probably around 5 miles an hour off at 100 and 7.5 miles an hour off at 150

Go to Florida every road is pretty much perfect for speed runs but avoid Miami.
Fort Bragg drop zone roads were fun for opening it up. Beware the gravel though!

The rev limiter will still kick in even with the ECU flash. It just bumps up the RPMs by 500.
