Watching this after my friend just died last Friday, the 20th. We rode crazy all the time and it was a blessing to make it home safe. He was leaving work at 6am cruising at 35mph when a lady ran the red light and killed him. He died on the scene. I haven't touched my bike after the incident but looking at this video it's crazy how quick our life can end. It doesn't matter how fast or how slow you go; there's always a risk. You could tell you were so shocked you were processing still being alive. Tell your friends you love them, and normalize it. Tell your family you love them and grip the handlebars like it's always your last ride. Stay safe, ride safe, and I hope everyone is doing great in life!

I was running from the part lights 2 months ago and this is exactly what happened to me mid chase, ended up with 5 broken does and dislocated tendons on my right foot. Glad you’re okay but gotta be careful man.

@@mwhad9991 On a freeway the only peoples lives they're putting in danger is their own, even hitting a car from behind speeding like that is gonna fallback onto the biker, person in the car might get some bumps and bruises if they aren't going grandma speeds.

If someone were to see the bike in their mirror, not realize how fast it's moving, and change lanes only for it to be right next to them, and the bike hits the car, the person next to them is probably gonna swerve.
That was insanely lucky. Do not waste this second chance at life the next one may not be so lucky. Ive had two bad crashes. One i got lucky and only have numbness and nerve damage in my right knee. The other was at 30 mph and i got unlucky and snapped my humerus clean in two when i hit a light pole and dislocated the shoulder. Both involved someone moving into the open lane. Both times they ran. took me 8 months of PT and after 2 years i still don't have full function of my arm back. 90% tho which is better than they thought id have. I still ride to this day just more carefully. Godspeed my brother and please be safe.

I hate to be this guy, but zooming past people at 100+ inches from their side is exactly how you die. People don't look in the mirror, or just glance back and don't notice you, then decide to change lanes without indicating at just the wrong time. Nothing wrong with wanting some speed but try and be smart about it, otherwise you won't be so lucky next time

I’m so sorry that you crashed. I had that same happen to me, but my best friend died We were a s1000rr we went in the ambulance. I broke both of my legs and my arm since that day I haven’t gotten near it and that was at least six weeks ago.😅
