    Self sabotage is a manifestation of fear that we’re not good enough, don’t have enough skill or don’t deserve to be successful. Faith looks ahead to the finished goal, and takes the action necessary to get there 🔥

    I still recall my struggles and then my subsequent growth. Realizing and maximizing your self and financial potentials will require you to try out different endeavors. Without the foresight to engage in the financial market with the help of my portfolio manager and fixed income planner, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

    • @lawrencerandolph5795
      @lawrencerandolph5795 11 месяцев назад

      This is actually very true because a lot of people downplay the role of a financial planner until burnt by their mistakes. After my last job layoff, I had to stay afloat, hence researched for licensed fiduciary advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge and experience. My reserve fund of $35k USD has yielded nearly $320k after subsequent investments so far.

      It is very challenging to create a strong financial portfolio therefore it would be wise to get much needed assistance from a real finance professional. You can then receive strategies that are specifically suited to your long term objectives and financial goals.

      Reading, research, patience and seeking guidance is the best way to approach or break into the market system. I have been inclined with CHRIS RYAN STEWART, a CFA whose experience and expertise speak for itself. I saw his take on risk management a couple of years back and I was amazed.

    I really enjoy your videos. As an over analytical person who didn't learn they were higher IQ until in their 40's I struggle with perfectionism and indecisiveness. Introversion makes it worse. Your videos on "people dumber than you are making millions" in particular hit home. I see people everyday who aren't overly bright but have failed their way to success because they don't stress over the details like I would. Faceless channels is a business I really want to focus on to transition away from my physically demanding occupation. I appreciate all the helpful info you provide.👍

  • @MarcosBorBa

    I started my journey as an entrepreneur in 2013. By 2019, I had managed to make my company worth 7 digits. Then the pandemic hit, and I lost everything (it was very sad having to lay off more than 10 people who were supporting their families), and it almost broke me. I had known about RUclips automation or faceless RUclips channels for some time. So, I embraced this model. I've always been fascinated by the way you can scale a business with a small team or even flying solo. I want to provide the support that my wife and son deserve. It's not easy, it never is. But it's part of the journey. And if I achieve success, or rather, when I achieve it, Devon, you will be responsible for a part of this success. Thank you for so much value. And today's video about self-sabotage is just another thing I'm training my brain to improve. Sorry for my messy text, English is not my first language. God bless you and once again, thank you.

    Incredible video and advice. I have a window cleaning company in the UK. We became a limited company in 2020 and took a pay cut, expecting it to only last 6 months. We are beyond 3 years now and still on the really small wage, I recently realised I created a job for myself and enslaved myself into working for peanuts. The business makes nearly 6 figures but me and my business partner are doing all the work, we have no staff, and seemly never seem to make enough money to get over the "hump" we have been stuck in a rut for years now. I don't take home enough to pay the bills and rely on my partner at home to "keep me" its embarrassing and demoralising. The business owes me money too, because I made the fools mistake of trying to put my money into it to help it succeed. I have some ideas where I have been going wrong, but I am physically feeling the pain, working hard non stop trying to dig out of a hole is not a nice feeling.
    Just wanted to say to you Devon, I applaud you for understanding your limitations and overcoming them, I only hope I will also overcome mine. I am a subscriber and watch your content for motivation to help me get through the next day. There is much more to my story but I will leave it here.
    Thanks Devon

Though i have to say i don't feel anyone is dumb. Just some people are able to do the things that folks like me who self sabotage do they don't do. They say you can't teach old dogs new tricks. Well, I recognize 7/10 from the list that I’ve struggled with. And each one in different intensity than the next.
    Self Sabotage is such a beast to deal with, but you don’t realize how much of a many-feathered bird it is until you see all it’s components listed out like that.
    There was a small event in my life around a month ago, where I finally had to just get over myself and forget about “fear of failure” (#1)
    And the reason I decided to get over it was because of what I refer to as “negative pressure”
    The anxiety I would feel from caving and not shooting for the stars because of fear of failure would be too much to bear versus what it would take just to move from being a little more courageous.
    And so far it seems that one movement towards whittling down one piece of the self-sabotage list slowly eats away at the other components of self sabotage. At least that’s what it seems like to me.

      If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
      But make allowance for their doubting too;
      If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
      Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
      Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
      And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
      If you can dream-and not make dreams your master;
      If you can think-and not make thoughts your aim;
      If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
      And treat those two impostors just the same;
      If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
      Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
      Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
      And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
      If you can make one heap of all your winnings
      And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
      And lose, and start again at your beginnings
      And never breathe a word about your loss;
      If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
      To serve your turn long after they are gone,
      And so hold on when there is nothing in you
      Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
      If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
      Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch,
      If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
      If all men count with you, but none too much;
      If you can fill the unforgiving minute
      With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
      Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
      And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!
