TO was 2nd all-time in receiving yards behind only the GOAT Jerry Rice. He was probably the best Run after Catch receiver I've ever seen. Throw him a WR screen or a Reverse and he's gonna take it all the way to the projects. TO also had the best TD celebrations of all-time, including the Pom-Poms and the Sharpie. Despite the claims that he was a bad teammate, he was unstoppable and consistently put his teams in contention. This guy was box-office.

He is the best WR of all time. The way he dominated the game and had opposing defense focused on him every plays shows how scared they were of him. His attitude definitely destroyed his career. But while playing 4 less seasons then Jerry rice but almost the same stats. Jerry rice also fumbled a lot 27 times in his career and TO only 11. TO protected the ball more also witch might be the most important. TO>Jerry rice

Ego did this and ultimately white supremacy supported him being a 2nd time around hall of farmer even tho should have been a first because of that media supremacy of a black man speaking his mind doing the work and being one of the best if not the best receiver throughout his careeer

  • @pattrell5257

I think the biggest problem with TO was--he wanted a ring. And, if he ever perceived that he could not get it, then he soured*. B. Sanders quit instead, but both had the same effect on their teams! But. as far as talent, he could do it all very good or better(including catching later)!
*I don't believe he would have behaved like that had Young or Montana been his QB for an extended period. I believe if it was SF playing the Broncos in 98 with the big game ability of Owens and Rice and having Hearst healthy to run the ball--they would have gotten it early on and you wouldn't have had the drama later.
