maybe because Westbrook was an Eagle already and put in the work as a great player and a PROFESSIONAL. Didn't Westbrook deserve that before TO got his based on his body of work with the team?
@@rob7216 I think you missed the point. McNabb said in public that he doesn't get involved in negotiations between front office and players. Yet, it was reported that he went to the F.O. to make sure Westbrook was taken care of. That meant he lied and T.O. found out he was a partial QB when T.O. believed McNabb wasn't. Now, it is easy to say Westbrook is this and that but the reality is in that system every running back was good. Think about it, Staley, Westbrook, and McCoy all were great under Reid's system. It was plug and play as long as you can catch out the backfield. However, it didn't get them past the Conference Championship because the team relied heavy on short passing and defense. T.O. brought the vertical passing and defenses couldn't really stop them as long as T.O. was on the field.
bigdinlaca doesn’t mean the report is true and if it is he changed his mind. Westbrook was crucial to those teams. Not just offense he was a great special teamer and great teammate. @Kaizaro123 What's the first thing they teach you in team sports? There's no I in team. T.O was all about himself and split a locker room in half. A locker room that had Super Bowl potential and still only lost by 3. Imagine if he was a good teammate. You never got the point homey. We would've been better pursuing Anquan Boldin.
McNabb cursed out Terrell Owens in the huddle. Teammates have confirmed this. T.O told him he was wide open and McNabb said “f you”. So, McNabb was wasn’t innocent.
@@Am-Not-Jarvis qbs look for wrs whitegloved hands. They raise them as an indicator of a beaten route. A lot of quarterbacks deemed better than Nick, never had that hot flash moment and they were starters, i.e. Dan Marino. When Foles is bad, he is really really bad, but his great seems to be better then most quarterbacks best. Weird mental thing.
"Mcnabb was jealous of all the love Owens got from the fans." COMPLETELY INCORRECT. LOL. this is laughable. McNabb hated too much attention. WTF you smoking.
Never knew an NAACP somewhat higher-up called McNabb mediocre. That's harsh. Mediocre was the Jay Fiedler/ A.J. Feeley QB combo in Miami. Or whoever the Browns had. And T.O. was just saving himself for Tony Romo.
He only had a couple great seasons as a passer in his career. He was inaccurate as hell with a completion percentage in the 50s for his career. Seriously, if you ask almost any fan what their lasting memory of McNabb is, you're bound to hear, "I just remember he randomly threw balls straight into the dirt on a regular basis." He was carried by his defense a lot of the time and made just enough plays to win, but there were people acting like he was Patrick f*cking Mahomes. It was irritating as hell.
5 players/ 22 players. Can't be compared Those 2 were 2/5th of the talent. Nabb and TO were 1/11th of the overall talent. It take a team to win a SB not 2 players unlike a nba championship
Terrel Owens had beef with all his quarterbacks. He said Jeff Garcia was gay in San Francisco. He said McNabb got tired and much more in Philly. He said Tony Romo only threw to his friends and insinuated this was partially due to racial issues. Owens was a club room cancer and narcissist. With his body and work ethic he should have played till he was 40 but no one could stand him. His last year in the league he had 983 yards, avg of 13.7 yards per reception, and 9 touchdowns. Solid number 2 receiver stats and boarder line number 1 receiver stat. But no one could stand the guy. People say he didn't drink or get in trouble with the law so it's not fair that he couldn't get a job and people that were getting arrested could. But the point is if you can't get along with your coworkers at some point you're not going to be employable. You don't have to be buddy buddy but kill the drama. Also when you earn that reputation in a 32 team league where coaches move around and are friends with coaches on other teams you don't just poison the well on 3 teams...that type of thing ripples out to other teams.
Like every beef, there's blame on both sides. Two immature babies. McNabb gets more blame because he didn't produce. Not necessarily my stance on the matter, just telling you like it is. Philly fans like Owens more. And that's because Terrell was elite and played in the SB on a broken leg. McNabb still cries about not being liked right away and routinely came up short in the playoffs. Neither player was a championship player.
You left one thing out: he's the quarter back aka the defecto leader on the field. If he's not making the right decisions or let's his emotions get the best of him the whole offense shatters.
@@Jpgoeagles he owns most of the eagles records (for now), so obviously he produced. I'm saying he came up short when it mattered most. He wanted star treatment, but never truly earned it
The way the organization handled this was probably the worst blunder in Eagles History. 20TD’s in 22 Games!!?? During this time TO was the difference maker in our offense. This caused us at least 1 Super Bowl for sure.....TO coming back from an injury to play in the SB showed his toughness & he never should’ve been able to walk away from the team. Probably caused McNabb to not make the HOF either.
It came out some time later that Owen's got the better of him. I don't remember the source but I'm a local guy so I hear more of the minute details everyday from the media.

@@Whereyahidin and what did they do in those 3 NFC Championship game? Nothing. They were steam rolled by the Rams in 2001, stuffed by the Bucs in 2002, and absolutely choked against the Panthers in 2003.
As a Panthers fan, let me just say, he didn't choke in 2003. He played 3 quarters with separated cartilage in his left rib cage. The man literally couldn't stand up off of the bench with out assistance.
As a Cowboys fan I was laughing my ass off then TO became a Cowboy. I was holding my breath waiting for TO to faul up. And he did but not as bad as in Philly.
Just remember that McNabb also had Fred-X wide open in the endzone in the Super Bowl. He didn’t throw to him due to their problems with each other. McNabb was talented and I’ll always appreciate him as an Eagle, but the man is a premadonna
Rush was right though, if you critiqued Michael Vick/Donovan McNabb back in the day you were labeled a racist even though they were guilty of racism by promoting guys based solely on race.
Vick was at least a guy that was exciting and revolutionary, McNabb was wildly inconsistent, inaccurate, and was carried by his playmaking ability and his team's defense. But for some reason (well, we know the reason) people wanted to act like he was Patrick f*cking Mahomes out there. It was extremely annoying and irritating. When Rush made those comments, that was coming right off the first couple weeks of the year where McNabb was SUCKING IT UP. I mean REALLY bad. But it was the same thing over and over, people acted like the guy was a walking gold jacket or something. This was a guy whose poor play and inadequacies were not allowed to be talked about in the media (and again, you know why). There was a narrative to uphold. If you watched games objectively, you saw right away that he was not a great passer of the football. Dirt balls constantly, each pass was really a crap shoot. Either hit his target or missed wildly. The only thing you worried about was his ability to extend plays, never his passing ability. The guy never threw for 4000 yards in his career and was USUALLY around 20tds 10ints. I mean, that's okay, but that's about it. After several years in the league his weight started ballooning and he couldn't run anymore, he was more just a guy who could escape a little bit like old Big Ben but with a fraction of the passing ability.
I liked the video except on glaring thing at the end that you completely messed up. You say TO won’t pass up an opportunity to talk about Mcnab and then play a clip in which TMZ is the one instigating the topic. Don’t put that on him. They asked him and he responded. You were impartial the entire time until that moment. Should re-edit.
Just a bad match for each other lol. Being on a team is a relationship building process. The particular ingredients, Owens and McNabb, do not mix well.
T.O. added plenty to the team, however they did go to three straight NFC Champ games with a bunch scrubs and they were favored in two of them. T.O was not a team player, if he was, he wouldn't have demanded top pay and instead taken less so that the organization could use that money to get better talent on both sides of the ball. T.O. wasn't used to someone finally standing up to him like 5 did and it pissed him off more, that's probably why he was satisfied with the move to Dallas as he knew no one would question him there.
Had T.O. stayed humble and kept his feelings to a minimum, he would have surpassed Jerry Rice in every category... Hell, he'll still be playing with a gold jacket waiting in the wings of the tunnel.
The best WR in football (which Owens was in 2004) just put his livelihood on the line and signed waivers clearing Philly from any liability should he get injured in that Super Bowl. Owens vastly outperformed his contract during the 2004 season and considering what he risked, he deserved to secure the bag. The Eagles could’ve cut him if he got hurt and there would be no guarantee he would get another contract. Gotta look out for yourself and your family first, then your vocation. Organizations have no loyalty to players so you must do what’s in your best interest while also finding a balance to put yourself in the most successful position in your vocation.
I get some of the frustration that TO had at times. Any situation that involved the 2, McNabb somehow never played a part. They coddled & protected the hell out of McNabb even after the Superbowl somehow it was about TO playing injured & not McNabbs turnovers
Damn so Drew rosenhaus has been on the scene causing mischief in the NFL for a while smh y'all can't deny though if it wasn't for T.O. they wouldn't even came close to a win...It was McNabb the one that blew that game for them and this is a Patriots fan saying that
They both elevated each other's game. TO and McNabb totally blew such an amazing opportunity over petty ego bullshit. That being said I think T.O. was the greater offender than McNabb.
Donovan was fake af 😂. He couldn't stand the fact that he wasn't the best player on the team anymore and the fanbase had turned into a mainly TO fanbase. He was hatin hard.
@UC0xTPTjtENByhzBQ9NVlYAg reallly I'd say TO is the kind of player that can elevate your team to an elite level for a year maybe 2, as he did in philly and Dallas, but the longer he stays the worse off your team is gonna be, eventually his baggage will show, eventually he will poison the locker room, eventually your team will be worse with him there. McNabb on the other hand remain the consistent face of the franchise until he left for Washington
Surprisingly as a Cowboys fan, I was looking forward to this. But how come other stuff was missing from the narrative? How about the team that McNabb went to after Philly (Washington, another NFC east team)? TO's drama in Dallas?
We really aren't that bad. Booing McNabb is something we all regret and only some of us did (I'm wearing his jersey right now). Remember when the Kicks fans booed Porzingis on draft night and everybody thought it was hilarious? We would never get away with that, but they do because they're New York. We aren't the worst fans ever, we just are passionate as hell about our sports and city.
Roman Doyle passionate? Maybe obnoxious. Maybe ask Mike Schmit, Charles Barkley, Wilt the stilt or even Santa Claus. They built a jail in veterans stadium for your “passionate fans” for a reason. You guys love being overly aggressive but hate owning up to it.
Literally any fanbase that consists of millions of people is going to have SOME rowdy people in it. People just like the idea that we are all violent and it makes noise in the news every time somebody cries about it. Of all the Philly fans I know, maybe one has ever been in a fight over the Eagles and none have ever been arrested or anything like that. Remember when Charles Oakley (not Barkley) LAST YEAR got ejected from the Knicks game for fighting security? Do we hear that it's because NY is a toxic fanbase? No. And The Santa thing is over 50 years ago now (and funny), gotta let that go.
Mista Meatballs not a Boston fan at all, I got a chance to play baseball at Fenway Park and it was something that you can’t pass up. Fenway is one of the best and most unique parks in the world.
i used to think T.O. was the problem until i heard of a story about McNabb calling T.O. selfish for playing in the superbowl with a broken leg, who does that??
When TO kept his mouth shut, he was definitely up there with Randy Moss as the best receivers at the time and one of the best ever. I don't know what gave him the awful attitude he developed over time. Maybe it was social problems that he had, but whatever it was, he definitely didn't hold the same value even with all of the touchdowns.
It wasn’t a bad attitude, it was him saying things to people’s face and not just saying the things behind the backs of them people. That’s what people asking others all the time.
I truly believe some outsider was inside Terrell Owens' ear telling him he was better than team and they wouldn't be in the position they in without him.. Also the media pushed it as well..
McNabb didn't know how to handle TO. Not a knock because no one did but McNabb is the one who suffered most from TO's shtick. It could even be the difference between McNabb making the HoF.

maybe because Westbrook was an Eagle already and put in the work as a great player and a PROFESSIONAL.
I’d love to hear me quarterback recognized my hard work and dedication and went to bat for me. That’s what stand up guys do for other stand up guys. TO doesn’t know what that’s like.
Kaizaro123 you know what he told me?... shut the F up... LOLOLOL T.O was a big baby who threw everybody under the bus. Wanted all the attention at the demise of his team. You’re missing the point but it’s hard to talk to somebody in love with another mans body.
So, McNabb was wasn’t innocent.
quantae06 could it have been because TO would ALWAYS say he was open, which started to sound like a broken record?
Nick of Time T.O was legitimately open on that play which was designed for him
(Edit: Spelling )
The quarterback decides who is open. Not the receivers.
that’s literally every receiver after every play lol
@@Am-Not-Jarvis qbs look for wrs whitegloved hands. They raise them as an indicator of a beaten route. Its kinda hard to miss them, especially big hands on tall recievers, and you naturally should look at the best wr/cb matchup >50% of the time. All these point to either he saw him and didnt care, or wasnt looking over there on purpose
Former Texas/Titan's QB Vince Young put it best, "I should have just shut my mouth and played football."
And the Eagles were never good again
Oh wait
A lot of quarterbacks deemed better than Nick, never had that hot flash moment and they were starters, i.e. Dan Marino. When Foles is bad, he is really really bad, but his great seems to be better then most quarterbacks best. Weird mental thing.
Have you watched that chart party about consistency?
MegaNocab yeah actually it was pretty good
Oh wait
yanks2661 it seems he’s better coming off the bench and when he’s an actual starter he’s not a good quarterback. Glad to get Wentz back this week
Could've potentially won a Super Bowl earlier
Mcnabb was jealous of all the love Owens got from the fans. The love he never got. Owens wasn't innocent in all this however
L
Owens was a freaking warrior though. Americans like their footballers strong & relentless.
@Aaron Schafer it’s true.
"Mcnabb was jealous of all the love Owens got from the fans." COMPLETELY INCORRECT. LOL. this is laughable. McNabb hated too much attention. WTF you smoking.
@@ctruth6185Americans are also lazy and brainwashed
Never knew an NAACP somewhat higher-up called McNabb mediocre. That's harsh. Mediocre was the Jay Fiedler/ A.J. Feeley QB combo in Miami. Or whoever the Browns had. And T.O. was just saving himself for Tony Romo.
as a Bears fan, i'd rather have McNabb with one leg and one arm than Jay Cutler that's for damn sure lol
That's t.o.s quarterback man lol
Sooooo is anyone here cause of the stuff coming out between the two again?
Yes, Yes I am
And it’s coming out again lol. They just won’t stop.
i cant stop watching these beefs
mike piazza vs roger clemens
The Shaq/Kobe Beef episode gonna be amazing
This is one of those stories where nobody is a hero and everyone is a villain.
Yet TO has a reputation fighting with every QB he ever played with, and McNabb never had tiffs with anyone.
Growing up in the McNabb T.O. Eagles era was amazing
Yet Kobe and shaq had beef for almost a decade but had a 3-peat
2 players out of 5 make way more of an impact than 2 out of 22 (starters)
@@gopaaa thank you, I was just going to say the same thing lol
5 players/ 22 players. Can't be compared
Those 2 were 2/5th of the talent. Nabb and TO were 1/11th of the overall talent. It take a team to win a SB not 2 players unlike a nba championship
Nice apples and oranges comparison chief.
That's because winning in the NBA is easier
This Was The Kobe/Shaq Beef Of The NFL ! Shame How It Ended
Man, I become a fan of the Eagles and started watching football actively was the year they no longer had TO, I can't believe I missed so much.
2:28 no matter how annoying someone might be, there is NO excuse to miss that target.
I miss this era :-(
I’ve been waiting for this beef episode
Beside the gay stuff with Jeff. Did t.o tell a lie about the other qbs
@@donbeatty1243 Not the point tbh
Shut up
Yawn.. you'll digest whatever the media feeds you.
@@donbeatty1243 you totally missed the point. Its not about being true or not its about being a distraction
THANK YOU, SB NATION!!!! Must watch beef right here.
didnt TO play a super bowl with a broken foot? cant say he wasnt a fierce competitor
Josh did you just say mcnabb didnt produce?? i guess u just started watching football
Anthony Martinez he was making the right decisions and the offence was just fine without owens
Your right Im born and raised in Philadelphia. The city never fully embraced Donovan Mcnabb.
@@Jpgoeagles he owns most of the eagles records (for now), so obviously he produced. I'm saying he came up short when it mattered most. He wanted star treatment, but never truly earned it
“That’s My Quarterback.” 😢
Been waiting forever for another sports beefs
Very nice double entendre at 0:41 : "As for McNabb, after being showered in a legendary amount of boos (booze)..."
Might be time to revisit this one...
I'm curious to know who won the fight between him and Hugh Douglas
It came out some time later that Owen's got the better of him. I don't remember the source but I'm a local guy so I hear more of the minute details everyday from the media.
TO eventually threw everyone he played with under the bus.
tmage23 telling the truth is under the bus hmmm
he's was a cancer to every single locker room he's been in
Black Donald Trump'
When u good, you get cocky.. look at how Jordan was
tmage23 IT'S ALSO A FACT TO MADE EVERY QB HE EVER PLAYED WITH BETTER!!
Rip Steve Air McNair...The Best QB in Titans history...

I’m happy to have been a sports fan from the late 80s til now, thankful. It’s been the absolute most entertaining time for pro sports and I’m just grateful. Ppl should be happy they got to watch all this Foreal Foreal
TO didn't give a damn about Campbell's soup
This should have been the first ever episode of Beef History. There has never been a greater beef ever in sports.
T.O still one of my favourite Cowboys. He was so fun
Well never forget about this duo of what could of been!
Who’s here after TOs and mcnabbs twitter beef?
If they didn't fight in 04, they would've won the superbowl.
I would just like to say that Mcnabb being the second overall pick, almost winning mvp in his second year and being forced to have a good season with terrible receivers is fairly similar to wentz situation recently
Very similar
Lmao, the stat blazer is killing me (inside) 🤣
Mcnabb got salty, he couldn’t take being being overshadowed
Vendis Sertune ur def right "we got to 3 nfc championship games without T.O." Threw him under the bus.
@@Whereyahidin and what did they do in those 3 NFC Championship game? Nothing. They were steam rolled by the Rams in 2001, stuffed by the Bucs in 2002, and absolutely choked against the Panthers in 2003.
Matt Scott and they still managed to make it without TO. I just wished McNabb ain't say it the way he did by throwing him under the bus.
As a Panthers fan, let me just say, he didn't choke in 2003. He played 3 quarters with separated cartilage in his left rib cage. The man literally couldn't stand up off of the bench with out assistance.
Matt Scott they didnt get steamrolled by the rams they lost by 1 score
Warren Sapp and Keyshawn Johnson. That Beef poured over well past their playing days
If TO worked well with the QBs in his career he’d have the career of Jerry Rice
Good video but how can you leave out TO doing situps and curls in his driveway while being interviewed by the media?
@@logicaldude3611 You totally nailed it.
I’ve been a lions fan my whole life, but I miss this era of Eagles football. Ahh the Madden 06 days...
The beef is not over I repeat the beef is not over LMAOOO
I liked the video except on glaring thing at the end that you completely messed up. You say TO won’t pass up an opportunity to talk about Mcnab and then play a clip in which TMZ is the one instigating the topic. Don’t put that on him. They asked him and he responded. You were impartial the entire time until that moment. Should re-edit.
Just a bad match for each other lol. Being on a team is a relationship building process. The particular ingredients, Owens and McNabb, do not mix well.
Love your videos!
T.O. added plenty to the team, however they did go to three straight NFC Champ games with a bunch scrubs and they were favored in two of them.
@@chillhomie04 he just signed the deal the previous year. What players get new deals in year 2 of a 7 year deal? It happens like never !

Terrell was like the 2004 version of Odell Beckham Jr.
At least Owens was HOF worthy. Him and Moss are interchangeably the 2nd best WR ever
@@ChristianGames316 100% agree
I get some of the frustration that TO had at times. Any situation that involved the 2, McNabb somehow never played a part. They coddled & protected the hell out of McNabb even after the Superbowl somehow it was about TO playing injured & not McNabbs turnovers
Damn so Drew rosenhaus has been on the scene causing mischief in the NFL for a while smh y'all can't deny though if it wasn't for T.O. they wouldn't even came close to a win...It was McNabb the one that blew that game for them and this is a Patriots fan saying that
I love T.O, “ get your popcorn ready” he was amazing on turf, and I’m not even an eagles fan.
They both elevated each other's game. TO and McNabb totally blew such an amazing opportunity over petty ego bullshit. That being said I think T.O. was the greater offender than McNabb.
These videos are awesome.
Donovan was fake af 😂. He couldn't stand the fact that he wasn't the best player on the team anymore and the fanbase had turned into a mainly TO fanbase. He was hatin hard.
Imagine getting upset because somebody said Farve was better than you.
Well considering how this bs happened everywhere TO went in his career I'd say it was because TO was toxic instead of McNabb being salty
@@roshango125ab my problem tho is McNabb was mediocre in clutch situations. So he needed TO and his baggage to elevate his game.

wow hugh douglas, i aint hear that name in a longtime.....aaahhh the good ol days the good ol days
Surprisingly as a Cowboys fan, I was looking forward to this. But how come other stuff was missing from the narrative? How about the team that McNabb went to after Philly (Washington, another NFC east team)? TO's drama in Dallas?
If McNabb played anywhere else but Philly he’d get the respect he deserved. Philly=worst sports fans ever. They’d boo Ben Franklin
Roman Doyle guy has two videos on his channel from Fenway. If ya put two and two together he’s probably a salty pats fan upset his GOAT lost
Mista Meatballs not a Boston fan at all, I got a chance to play baseball at Fenway Park and it was something that you can’t pass up. Fenway is one of the best and most unique parks in the world.

THP Island Eugene Melnyk vs Senators fans
i used to think T.O. was the problem until i heard of a story about McNabb calling T.O. selfish for playing in the superbowl with a broken leg, who does that??
When TO kept his mouth shut, he was definitely up there with Randy Moss as the best receivers at the time and one of the best ever. I don't know what gave him the awful attitude he developed over time. Maybe it was social problems that he had, but whatever it was, he definitely didn't hold the same value even with all of the touchdowns.
He could have been the greatest WR of all time if he had the right mentality... everything else was perfection when it came to TO's game.
Any idea why they stopped the video at 9:59? Usually you see youtubers go to the 10:01 or 10:02 mark for the 10 minute monetization. Just curious
McNabb didn't know how to handle TO. Not a knock because no one did but McNabb is the one who suffered most from TO's shtick. It could even be the difference between McNabb making the HoF.
