+maxwel2543 No shit, individually all the separate parts sounds good, but it's so imbalanced it's almost unbelievable.
Yeah there were some parts where I could barely hear her
I'm seeing them live in a few days, and I'm really hoping that it was the sound guy for this show, or just the video. Others say that this video doesn't do them justice so I'm still hopeful.
gajjit honestly this was two years ago, so a lot can change in that time frame. also warped tour is known for having shitty sound/shows. to many bands playing, to many sound checks that gotta get done. lots of work needs to be done to make large venues work and more often than not it doesn't get done. especially for rock shows. hate to say it but pop bands often have better staff/crew for they have the money to pay for it. ik this for its my job.

The vocalist puts a good show, but the guitarist is kinda lazy on stage, bassist is following... I got a litle bit impresed by the drummer, he really took the energy of the song to another level.. But overall seems like an awful sound mixing than the fault of the musicians.
Yeah maybe its just how it was recorded, doesn't sound much better than a phone.

They were way better here than in Now You Know and Cynics and Critics. This show seemed like an off day to them. Shawn most certainly wasn't up to his game for this song. Ariel stood out a lot, because she had high stage presence, but when they did Cynics and Critics and Now You Know for this show, I don't know if any of them were quite on their game. If you watch their Christmas show in Germany for Scripted that they did in 2012, Shawn and Josh were on fire. Heck, they all were. Shawn was not on his game for this show or this song. I can just say, this was not their show. They are actually usually really good live, but this is probably one of their worst shows ever. I am not trying to bash them at all. They are my favorite band ever. I'm just saying my opinion about this show, because they've played much better shows.

In all YT videos I've seen, it seems like she can't keep up her voice, not like she does in their album version songs...anyone who has seen them live can tell me if that's just an impression from the videos or she really has problems in going up with her voice( thus making her having to keep working on her voice to get to the quality in albums).

Diego Fratus I just saw them yesterday, and I can assure you that she sounded 10x better then than she does in any of these videos.

Ive seen her live in the warped tour the year before, she sounded amazing. She might have been sick or something here tbh.

Something is missing. The performance makes feel dull.
This band seems like they just chose a bunch of bare minimum artists that were all really hot and in good shape to make good music videos.. And its really not that great outside of the studio.

wtf. the bass was louder than the guitar. the backing vocals were out of tune. she needs to sing with rasp, the drummer needs to do 16th notes on the hi-hat, the guitarist needs to play more ghost notes, a new sound man needs to replace this one, they need to balance the backing track, and reduce the low in the bass drum and... complete fucking chaos.
Don't expect good sound checks at warped tour. Saw them live yesterday. Sounded much better than this.
