That is to say, I don't need to be a professional singer to say she didn't perform very well here. She was alright, but not great. About her actual performance, why is it always they were coincidentally "sick" when they sound subpar? Not only Icon For Hire, but just about every other band, as well; if the singer performs poorly, the fanboys and -girls all jump in to make excuses, saying "Oh they're sick" or "Oh it was hot" or "Oh they're tired". It's, literally, her job to perform well, and she did an alright job, but not very good. Stop making excuses and accept it.
