Kenya plans to double avocado exports to Sh30 billion by 2028 following the opening of a 1000 acre farm in Naivasha, Nakuru county. The farm is a partnership between Kenya and Israeli governments.

Avocado consumes large amounts of water. It's already drying and killing rivers in South American countries. I think we should focus on local food security instead of growing crops, mainly for export.

What l don't understand is why we keep involving other countries to help us in our growth & development?
We as a county have farmers who can teach other farmers.
We need to stop this.
