Bears organization is the reason, not Caleb. Matt Eberflus, Ryan Poles and Shane Waldron all had same Agent. Trace Armstrong. Armstrong as roots with the Bears organization.
I would agree but Caleb has been playing really bad, he holds on to the ball for too long, inaccurate. If he had no help, you can chalk it up to that, but he has a really good offensive and still not playing well.
@wbbb1256 I agree but it's up to coaches to get him the right place. Waldron put to much on him. Receivers also aren't getting open. Coaches are holding Caleb down by not letting do what he is good at.
One thing everyone missed Chase. It doesn't matter if he was good or not this man played QB. It's like chase trying to tell Shady how to be a running back. The disrespect they just gave him during this segment. Now I've watched this show many of times and these same ppl blamed the coaching for other things but can't see how coaching doesn't play a big part especially on a rookie quarterback. Yes caleb could play better but is it hard to believe that he is being coached in properly. Look at the track record of the organization.
I cant see how they played football and act like they don't know coaching matters..if it didn't matter why would Aaron Rodgers want his OC with him in NY
I don't think it was Caleb's ineptitude that called a goal line carry to a backup center against Washington. Yes, Caleb is not playing well but to say that Waldron is not a part of the problem, they're not watching close enough
Like James said it’s not all on coaching Caleb bad play got a coach fired just like AR bad play got a coach fired also it don’t help when the coach does draw up a play people open and Caleb overthrows under throw or don’t throw to the open receiver and not taking the simple things either like it’s not just coaching
Bills fired their OC last season during the season and the offense was much better after and has continued to be good. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesnt. But for James to act like coaching doesnt matter and its all on the players is ridiculous.
what hes saying is you dont get to install a new offence mid-season. Its an internal hire so you're going to get the same plays with the same players and a different play caller. You might get some better results for a game or 2 with a moral boost but in the end it will regress to being the same nonsense it was before. The Bills have a top 5 qb in the league and he turned it on later in the season. Caleb isnt even playing like season 1 Josh Allen right now, you are getting back up calibre QB play out of him.
The Bills also have Josh Allen. Williams is a rookie and has never been good from the pocket, throwing on schedule, or reading defenses. Running around until someone gets open works against PAC12 defenses, not NFL defenses.
@@LeetraviusMcKay-q6m how? where will you find a play caller who can come in mid season and work with the offence you have installed. It has to be an internal hire.

I agreed with Chase 100% He played the quarterback position Shady and James, yeah, he was a backup quarterback but still he was in the quarterback room, he knows what goes on. Shady and James are so disrespectful when it comes to Chase insight. But Chase can't tell them how to play their position. Really!!!!!🤦♀
James Jones essentially having one HC and one system throughout his NFL career really hurts his arguments when it comes to coaching and being able to view it through the lens of players who are constantly having to go through coaching changes.
@robindevily9182 James only played for the Raiders outside of the Packers in the regular season, and for only one season at that. He was cut from both the Giants & Chargers in the preseason he signed with both teams. Whether his skills had declined or he had an inability to adapt to a new system is open for interpretation, but going back to Green Bay after being cut by the Giants in the preseason and posting career average stats would suggest the latter.
@@Adam-xe5xm How does getting cut from the Giants in the preseason suggest he had an all time QB throwing to him? 2015 Giants kept 8 Wide Receivers on the roster. Either they didn't think James Jones was good enough, or he couldn't acclimate to the system. Aaron Rodgers had nothing to do with the Giants not deciding to keep him.
These dudes go into these emotional fits and stop trying to process logic. You can also tell they are pretending to respect Chase 😂😂 Acho probably understood his point and still just left him hanging smh.
Not really. They probably tired of him acting like no other position is playing football as well. Chase said some BS like "Coaching and System makes or breaks the qb." The statement is true but problem is that's for every other position as well, not just quarterbacks. He has soft qbs that doesn't allow him to land the plane correctly. In this segment, everyone agrees that Caleb is playing terrible. And if that's the case, the answer shouldn't be fire the coaches.
@@MichaelSmith-bk5sw Chase agreed that Caleb is playing badly. The reasoning beyond that (coaches are bad) is accurate. There's no reason to whine and disregard that Chase AGREED with them already. Bruh come on, even when watching bears highlights of the games, you barely see him throw 8-10 yard passes for completions constantly, he’s so worried about deep plays but most teams play with high safeties, I hope Caleb does better but these teams they’re playing aren’t that great, Bo nix n Jayden have played the tougher teams so far

THAT PART! That is NOT Caleb's doing. Explain to me how you have a top 10 tight end from the last 3 years and throw it to him less than 5 times 7 OUT OF 9 games this season! Three games he had one or ZERO targets! THAT IS COACHING! FACT Caleb is missing some wide open receivers and not trusting his guys to anticipate the route but he used to in college and did in the preseason. Waldren was destroying his confidence in his abilities and didnt' seem to have any plan for the play calling (you call this play in the 2nd series to couple it with another play that you then adjust and bring back in the 2nd or 3rd quarter because of the defensive reactions. He was just closing his eyes pointing to the playbook and sending in plays
I’m with Chase on this one. How did Jared Goff look his first year and all of a sudden Sean Mcvay comes in a “saves” his career. Obviously Caleb is playing bad but you gotta be able to help him out.
No Shady letting the Eagle hall of fame get to his head and he think he know everything. He challenges all of them on their knowledge like he played every position. He's arrogant
I think Chase is bugging. He keeps talking about the coaches then brings up his talent ceiling. Can’t have it both ways. James was right Maye doesn’t have the best coach either but he looks better with less talent and team.
@@Theeonlygogeta when you are touted as generational yes you are suppose to overcome bad coaching, especially when everyone said it literally was the best situation for a rookie QB ever. Not missing 5 yard outs throwing into the stands
It’s the play calling that got Waldron fired. If it’s Caleb that’s struggling then call plays that develop quickly and keep the chains moving, the OC’s job.

He texted his punter they wernt going ro punt allot this year. Yeah his coaching hasnt been great but everyone said that he was a Transcendent talent. A franchise fixer
Lets be real. Caleb was NEVER that much better in college. USC was an average team and his last year it was painfully obvious he couldnt throw from the pocket.

14 years in the league. How many years were you in the league and sat in the QB room? ZERO.....THEY weren't listening. He trying to give them insight. James and Shady think they know every damn thing. Especially Shady
You don’t add better offensive weapons to that offense and it regresses from the year prior. The QB is the common denominator in this issue. Caleb is the problem plain and simple
I hate to say it but the bears organization had so much potential with Williams and this offense and somehow still found a way to f it up again this is ridiculous and diabolical man 😂😂😮💨 they never learn ever 😒
Saying the Bears have so much potential with a Quarterback who's never taken a snap on the NFL is a wild take. Plenty of great college players hit the NFL and aren't able to make the leap, or take time to acclimate. Your expectations are the problem, not the organization.
James keeping it really real. If Caleb wasn’t leading the league in off target percentage on his throws, coach wouldn’t be on the street jobless. Nobody scheming up balls sailing into the stands.
Yea Waldron is the problem 😂 and the Bears inability to develop and O line or even the QB but I think with good coaching Caleb is gonna be great on the bears
Chase with the good old hindsight saying that both Stroud and Daniels went to really good situations and coaching @9:12 when he and many others said the Bears situation was perfect. LOL. Why do these people come with their “after the fact” arguments? He is so so as his actual career as a backup QB.
Why the change three of you guys said this was a good team for him Ll the weapons on offense and avoid defense now everything is off make it make sense guys or you all just running your mouth s
You can look at it that way. The way i see it, of all the people to ever call themselves a quarterback at some point in their life, he is amongst the 99.99% in human history. Even bench players and practice swuad guys are more talented and knowledgeable than 99% of people in the sports world lol. Ill never look down on a backup anything. I wasnt good enough to go past division 3 in my career. I failed way worse than them.... But i was still better the 99% of people in my county. There are just levels to success. Our ha qb was the man in town, but he was technically a failure cuz he had no shot to get in the league.... But we still see him as a success for competing with our rival school and having close games even if we never beat them. He did better than most qbs in our school history. And he was respected for the valiant efforts. No one clowned him for losing to them, because no one from our school beat them. I scored 2 goals in soccer in one game against them senior year and it is one of the biggest games in our tivalries history. We still lost 3-2, but i gave us the lead against a juggernaut twice. We lost, we failed, they went on to win the conference, district, and compete at the state level. But i still view that game as a success, making them work harder to beat us than they imagined. We made them respect us even if they beat us. Thats enough for me.
Chase saying coaching is the reason Drake Maye looks better when Jerod Mayo is a rookie head coach and we’d trade Van Pelt in a heartbeat is hilarious. Drake Maye looks better because he IS better. He’s the rising tide that’s lifting all the wrecked ships in New England
Everyone ignoring the fact that New England sat Maye so that what is happening to Caleb wouldn't happen to Drake. Crazy how a coaching decision can have such a large impact...
They will be held accountable for passing on a franchise altering draft haul to draft a Quarterback they didn't need. Kevin Warren is likely sharpening his knives this very moment.
So Caleb needs the chiefs organization or he can't win. Look what Joe burrow did when he took over, or josh Allen. Great QBs lift bad organizations up, Caleb isn't that guy
Always said it. Caleb Williams is cocky, full of himself, and is not a leader. Since the beginning of the draft. And in preseason. He isn't good. You can just tell by looking at him, and looking at how he acts. And let's not forget the nail painting 💀
Chase hit the nail on the head at the 14 minute mark. I think he is being told don’t make a mistake just like Fields was. That’s why they are holding the ball.
Chase Daniel's is the biggest Caleb apologist. Caleb Williams played terrible his last year of college and it continues in the NFL. Stop blaming everything else.
@ Caleb deserves more of the blame. He's changing the plays at the line, he's inaccurate, he's not taking the check downs. That's on Caleb not coaching staff. The OC wasn't good but Caleb was worse
@@BoonyChickerthere has been plenty of times the checkdown was open. He refused to throw it to the checkdown waiting for the receiver to be open. That’s not on the OL or the OC. That’s on the decision of the QB. He is also not going through his progressions. He is sticking to his first read and once he can’t throw it to him he panics and play breaks down for a bad pass or a sack. The line has some fault but it’s not all on the OL or the OC. Where was the OL is trash against Car or Jax? Where was the OC is trash against Car or Jax?
People calling Caleb a “bust” are so consumed by media. Nobody is a bust after 1 bad season that is the most ludicrous and premature statement a sports analyst could have
He’s a bust because of his playing he literally can’t make a read and looks scared to throw the ball hasn’t made any progress at all and he supposedly came into the best situation a rookie has ever came into so that’s why people are calling him a bust
I agree with you but I would be concerned with Caleb’s dad and the way they’re going to try controlling the narrative. If they want Caleb to improve they can’t blame everything and not look inward. Caleb needs to step up and take responsibility. Just like the way mahomes took responsibility last year for his receivers dropping passes. Everybody knew it wasn’t on mahomes but he decided to protect his guys. If he Caleb steps up like that I like his chances.
What shady is saying is 100% correct. I was a superstar WR growing up. Nobody could keep up with me and then I grew into a 6'4 frame to boot. For reasons I wont go into I gave up football but i have always wondered how I would actually stack up to NFL competition because there is a VAST difference between dominating your local area and all of the sudden jumping to the best of the best from everywhere in the country. The NFL is such a massive jump in collective talent to put it in gaming terms its like jumping from gold to diamond. Golds arent trash by any means and dominating there is somewhat impressive. Buuuuuuut if you stick the dude dominating gold lobbies in a diamond lobby its gonna be a VERY different story quickly in most cases.

Funny how they couldn't reconcile their respectively valid arguments: 1 - Chase: the OC sucks. Ok. 2 - James and Shady: CW sucks. Ok too. And that's exactly what the mutinous vets went to tell Poles and Eberflus: fire Waldron and bench CW.
@@ricol9291 playing 14 years or whatever and never starting actually proves that he knows what hes talking about. - you dont keep a backup that doesnt grasp the playbook etc., if he didnt know what he was talking about, he wouldnt have been on a side line, backup qb's like chase, very likely know MORE about the position then alot of failed starting quarterbacks , because even without the physical skills and abilities, hes still been kept around.

Thank you Chase I agree 💯 hopefully it helps and they can get something going. Williams has to personally do better I believe he can turn it around. Go Chicago BEARS
@@Adam-xe5xmOf course, but they should have hired somebody that had a lot of experience calling plays.

Caleb Williams inaccuracy is wild. I know yall see these throws he misses (I’m not a hater just an observer) he not doing anybody any favors

that's because oline can't block and he's getting scared happy feet, when he played those teams he beat that were weak teams with no pass rusher he was very accurate because he was better protected and could follow through with his mechanics , hes a rookie with a bad oline and poor coaching, so yes he's gonna be inaccurate and this change will help nothing until they get the oline figured out

James played for a horrible raiders team and giants so he knows what he’s saying
@robindevily9182 James only played for the Raiders outside of the Packers in the regular season, and for only one season at that.
He was cut from both the Giants & Chargers in the preseason he signed with both teams.
