I grew up clogging then when we moved halfway across country our new home didn't have it i was so upset but i just started teaching myself-you can tell when people really enjoy what they do

Ashley Chalfant : If you have danced a lot, it is easy to pick up the step combinations and to move the feet fast. What I question is how they kept the clogs on their feet, unless the clogs had some kind of an invisible strap. All footwears for dancing have straps to keep the shoes from running away!

makes me miss my younger days as a clog dancer. Miss the two groups I was a part of. Both disbanded sadly. Aka The Klickin Kloggers and The Stateline Stompers.

Dilly Dally gotta leave them in their cover a minute after microwaving to get that crispy texture I eat enough hot pockets I memorize those instructions like my life depends on it
Fun. When I was little a fellow classmate was part of a clogging group and would come to school in her little clog shoes and I remember loving the sound on the hard parts of the floor and outside when she walked and I was even more mesmerized when she put on a little dance for us once, after that I joined up and clogged for a while myself until we moved then I gave it up. Wish I hadn't, I had a lot of fun learning some basic dance steps and dressing up and going for it. They were a really great, accepting group of people too who worked hard at supporting one another and I didn't feel like the newbie when I joined up, I felt like part of a new little family. Good memories.

Agree the music in the past few years dominates and you can't hear the actually taps of the clogs.....which I always felt was part of the whole point of it. Not a huge fan of this new direction clogging has been taking
