I was so obsessed with this movie for awhile 2 years ago. I’m still mesmerized with the beautiful story. It’s so sad but yet so beautiful. Their love story is epic. I even learned the geography and language. Such an epic beautiful love story. I’ll treasure it forever.

This is honestly one of the best movies i've ever seen. Oh my god.... I couldn't stop watching this movie. I've watched it over and over. I've even learned the damn song she was singing about the rivers becomes one in the ocean. It's so beautiful.... Gave me goosebumps. Their love for each other looked so real. I didn't want it to end.

Kilian’s personality was so ahead of its time, given the racially charged atmosphere, the brink of civil war, and the pressure to fit in with Jacobo and Gregorio - his vulnerability during his father’s death, the respect he had for Ose, Simon and of course Bisila....to learn the language, the culture .... to never lose sight of the stand up guy he was .....the kind of film that resonates with you long after you’ve watched the film.... and so visually beautiful to watch.... one of the best films I’ve seen! Having said that, the book is even better!

One of my favorite love movies ever. I wish Berta and Mario could be together forever in real life. I become upset when I knew that they broke up and he is now with Blanca. Very sad for me. Anyhow I love you both and in this movie they were a perfect couple ever!!!!

I thought I was not one to cry over a movie and then I watched this one. The actors did a splendid job portraying the characters and just sucking us into the story. My emotions were all over the place while watching it, I can tell you that.
