I always loved the how he honered her by marrying her in secret before sharing his love with her. It is such a beautiful love story, if she had given me the thistle, I would have loved her from that moment. I love the way she senses him looking at her and it is fitting that he sees her as he is being executed, his love for her no doubt carried him through his difficult life. It's only a movie but it is so well made, one of the best and you have to love that Celtic music.
This is the film that made me want to act as a 3 year old child. This film will always remain a masterpiece and is still my favourite film to this day! I have not found yet one fault in Braveheart!
I feel you! The moment he lost her I felt his pain at such a young age and the music always brings me back, Always wanted the love they had even if it was only for a short time.
This Movie was one of me and my father's favorites to watch together. We are Men with Hearts as Big As You could ever imagine, me and my father shared a father and sons love that was unspeakable, almost like we had our own language. My father overdosed and passed away March of 2017. Within my Soul, I know my father is with the Lord, but for the Life of me in this human body I can not shake off the insurmountable pain, I guess this pain is here to stay, and well I welcome it with open arms, because it is a gateway to remembering the precious life we have been giving, and through that it gives me Live and Compassion to Love and except as many people as I can wholeheartedly. Those of you that have experienced "LOSS" know that I " BLEED With You and Love You " God Bless! 💪🏼✝️💪🏼❤️🔥
Brave heart always makes me cry one of my favourite films and sounds of the pipes and as an Englishman bagpipes always give me a warm feeling of home and bonny Scotland ❤
I know your pain. I am there too. But to find that love I feel like you have to find it in yourself first at least thats how I see it. I hope peace finds us both.
@Ah Ho : well the day we will truly find the Lord then we will truly find the love. This kind love love is melted with passion, tenderness, desire, and therefore is not true love. Harder say than done though. Wish you the best to you and @Dougie. May the Lord with be with us and grant us the peace of mind.
My friend, seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. See it in this way. There very well may be a person out there that adds up to your character to such an extent that you want to spend the rest of your life with him/her. God knows this. But He also knows when you are ready or not. So rather than trying to find your love on your own, submit your desires to God. Put your trust in Him; that's part of what it means to seek "God's Kingdom". He already knows your heart's desires, so why keep it from Him? And then ask Him if there are things in your life you need to work on before you can wholesomely go into a relationship with pure intentions and the true, lasting love. You may want it, and we all do; but God is ultimately the very Author of love. Will He not give if you just ask it of Him? He will work all things for the good of those who love Him. So pray, be patient, and trust in Him. He will lead you to a very suitable person to marry and love in this way, if you trust in Him!
As a Scot living in America most of my life this movie has awakened the true spirit of my Celtic heritage. The love of one's country and his freedom not to speak of the woman he loved clearly shows through. I was born in Scotland and came here when my parents emigrated when I was four, I fought in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and proud of that. But I still consider Scotland my home. I take great pride living in America and knowing I have Scottish blood coursing through my veins.
I’m with you mate. I spend half my life in Phoenix and half here in Scotland. For me i love my country and my family but tbh there isn’t much freedom left here. I miss America and hope to be back soon. I call both places home lol I always say when I’m here I’m from Phoenix and when I’m there people ask Me where home is it’s sunny Scotland 😂
Good film for sure, and a great watch. Historically though its utter tosh. The historian Neil Oliver does the story a great service, I would suggest you watch it.
Stephen Vince Haven’t watched it yet but definitely plan on it, to be sure. I was aware of the discrepancies but I still think the film is great as far as plot, acting, dialogue and story structure. Usually when the film claims that it is “based upon a true story “ it means that these people existed and that’s where the similarities end. I definitely appreciate the advice tho. 👍

13o0tylici0u5 Absolutely. There has been much bloodshed in history in the name of peace. Plus, Wallace is most likely the figure of an ancient manifestation of the Peaceful Warrior: he’s wise, cultured, educated, positive, fit and cunning. Plus he does not seek out violence but he does answer the call when he is selected. He resorts to violence only as a very last option but, when he does, may his enemies beware.

@Londos1995 I remember when this movie was released, I could've watched it in a huge theater and experienced it fully. Instead one of my stupid friends at the time said he hated Mel Gibson and didn't want to watch any of his films and we ending up going to watch Johnny Mnemonic. 😭 😭 I ended up buying this movie on VHS and watched it on my small TV and it was still amazing, but I always never forgave my friend for making me miss watching it in the theaters. I really should've went and watched it myself, but at the time I was self-conscious of going by myself. The cherry on top of all this is that many years later my friend got around to watching Braveheart and he admitted it was a great film! FUCK THAT GUY! 😡 😡 😡

Allah yardımcın olsun :)
Hard to believe this was Mel's second stab at directing. His vision is what made this film so brilliant.
Che tristezza !!!! 😭 Film stupendo❤

The best movie ever
I always loved the how he honered her by marrying her in secret before sharing his love with her. It is such a beautiful love story, if she had given me the thistle, I would have loved her from that moment. I love the way she senses him looking at her and it is fitting that he sees her as he is being executed, his love for her no doubt carried him through his difficult life. It's only a movie but it is so well made, one of the best and you have to love that Celtic music.

One of the greatest movies ever made........ The Movie, Soundtrack are simply outstanding.
James Horner, my favorite film composer of all time. Miss you so much
This is the film that made me want to act as a 3 year old child. This film will always remain a masterpiece and is still my favourite film to this day! I have not found yet one fault in Braveheart!
I feel you! The moment he lost her I felt his pain at such a young age and the music always brings me back, Always wanted the love they had even if it was only for a short time.
Oui love
I cry every single time I see this in this movie.. and I’m not a crier!
This movie is about bravery, self-sacrifice and love, that's why I love it the most
I wrote a script for a great movie like that , but who helps me to get it to Hollywood

Not really. She died a few hours after their marriage and he later had an affair with that Princess.

I dream a death like him. Died for a cause. He will be remembered forever till the end of human civilisation.

That is gold.....
It’s amazing to me that persons so young can convey so much emotional control. Truly impressive...
Oh Lord let me feel that Kind of Love one time in my Life.....please
I had this love for 21 years then I lost it through my own fault
I cried and pray the same in my heart.
Смотрел этот ролик 1500000000 раз! И все же, я верю в настоящую любов!

As a Scot living in America most of my life this movie has awakened the true spirit of my Celtic heritage.
The love of one's country and his freedom not to speak of the woman he loved clearly shows through.
I was born in Scotland and came here when my parents emigrated when I was four, I fought in the U.S. Army
during the Vietnam era and proud of that. But I still consider Scotland my home. I take great pride living in America and knowing I have Scottish blood coursing through my veins.
❤❤🏴🇺🇸♾
I’m with you mate. I spend half my life in Phoenix and half here in Scotland. For me i love my country and my family but tbh there isn’t much freedom left here. I miss America and hope to be back soon. I call both places home lol I always say when I’m here I’m from Phoenix and when I’m there people ask Me where home is it’s sunny Scotland 😂
Fine blood, a true warrior people are the Scots, that’s from an Englishman.

The death that turned a peaceful man into a righteous warrior.
Good film for sure, and a great watch. Historically though its utter tosh. The historian Neil Oliver does the story a great service, I would suggest you watch it.
Stephen Vince
Haven’t watched it yet but definitely plan on it, to be sure. I was aware of the discrepancies but I still think the film is great as far as plot, acting, dialogue and story structure. Usually when the film claims that it is “based upon a true story “ it means that these people existed and that’s where the similarities end. I definitely appreciate the advice tho. 👍
Fantástica. Película. De Mel Gibson. Bueno todas. Sus películas. Son espléndidas. Pero esta es distinta será por esa maravillosa historia de amor. Y la banda. Sonora es...fantástica. Es lo qe tiene. Is someone who fights for peace truly violent?
13o0tylici0u5
Absolutely.

This is one of those movie you wish you could watch again for the first time.
3 hours sat in a cinema felt like 3 minutes whilst holding the hand of my child hood sweetheart wife. I'm 54 now and will never be so immersed in a film like that again. Beautiful.
Dean Melville wow what an experience that must have been! Truly lucky. I was born when this movie was released and wish I could have experienced it on its debut and gladiator as well! Thanks for sharing and god bless.
@Londos1995
I remember when this movie was released, I could've watched it in a huge theater and experienced it fully. Instead one of my stupid friends at the time said he hated Mel Gibson and didn't want to watch any of his films and we ending up going to watch Johnny Mnemonic. 😭 😭
I ended up buying this movie on VHS and watched it on my small TV and it was still amazing, but I always never forgave my friend for making me miss watching it in the theaters. I really should've went and watched it myself, but at the time I was self-conscious of going by myself.
The cherry on top of all this is that many years later my friend got around to watching Braveheart and he admitted it was a great film! FUCK THAT GUY! 😡 😡 😡

Ok
why they stopped making such beautiful movies.
because the world has gone mad he just wants horror
Because now it's more about profits and less about ideas, and people are being indoctrinated to shitty superheroes movies.
Numeric technology $$$
Not enough people can understand them now something like that looks like crazy magic in Willow instead of kindred friendship the whole world is going to hell.
Because people prefer wap and cheat and stuff like that. People want their showoff to be greatest of all. And they're foregtting who they are from inside. Which in case this movie depicts at best.
The movie and the sound track is a masterpiece
